Microsoft office is the standard for a reason... it just works. Bought this to make sure my high school student can work with real world programs, not just google docs, which no business I know uses. I buy the hard version rather than the subscription as I'd rather pay once. Call me old school (true), but I highly recommend this suite of programs.

If you need Word, Excel and PowerPoint then this is a good deal.

My wife really likes it. It's serving her home use purpose. All she needs are Word and Excel

This is an excellent package that includes all of the Office essentials (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). In my opinion, the lifetime license option is much more cost-effective than the Office 365 subscription options and it includes many of the same features. Highly recommend!

Purchased Microsoft Office 2019 (download) for new computer to avoid having to buy an annual subscription to Office 365. Programs are sufficient for home use; extensively use Excel with embedded functions and formats in spreadsheets. Have been using Office 2010 on old computer but MSFT stopped supporting it.

Seamless install (thanks, Geek Squad), opened all my docs from old Word versions. A bit of a learning curve, but not unmanageable. An industry standard program, a “must have” for even light business use. Preferred owning the software than an annual subscription plan. This made the most sense and cost effective option for me.

I now have Word, Excel, PowerPoint on my new computer.

My experience with the Microsoft "Office Home & Student 2019 Package" is that it is an excellent value for a small business. I find that it provides all I need to run a one person telehealth office easily and economically.

The digital download went flawlessly. Overall I remain satisfied with the Microsoft Office suite performance providing solid performers. One important point, which was not a negative for me as I do not use Outlook. This digital offering didn’t include Outlook. It had had Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for a very reasonable price.l

Microsoft Office Home and Student is used on a laptop and is easy to use

I got Microsoft Office for Home and Student 2019 for my new iMac (October 2020). I am a retired educator and am used to using the Office suite at work. The Best Buy offer was great. Downloading it onto my new computer was very easy. The process was seamless and has been working wonderful. Well worth the purchase.

This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription-based version of a subset of the Microsoft Windows Office suite. It includes Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point. This is a Digital Download where you will receive an email with a link to the install program and download, installation and activation instructions. This will result in a copy of the install program copied to your disk drive that you keep, and you have use of the 3 Office programs for as long as you want and for as long as Microsoft will maintain support. There are some features available in the full-blown Office 365 that are not available in this 2019 version of these Office programs. This might be a show-stopper for you if you need these features, but so far I have found that these programs are very capable and serve my needs.

Very upset with this. I had the Office 365 in my hand, but when talking to the store associate, I asked what was the difference and he said mainly that it has everything as the 365 except that there are a few more options available with the 365 and that it has a monthly subscription and only good for one year. I specifically asked about Excel and Publisher as we use Publisher a lot and he said it was included in this Home & Student version, just a basic/classic version, which we were fine with. After fighting with it for over a month, including contact with Microsoft tech team, I find out that Publisher does not come with this version. Only Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. So, now to get Publisher separate on it's own is going to cost another 140.00! Very upset at sales team and their knowledge of the products they are pushing!

This is great for office and school and home. Doing spreadsheets in Excel and word for documents. I have been using this for many years now and if you want to be efficient in your work I recommend using Office on your computer. Reasonably priced and will last for a long time. A must have !

We got this product when we bought our laptop it work well.

I don't understand the push for subscription services for basic programs. I just wanted a one time purchase to last the lifetime of my current PC if not longer. For my purposes I could still be using Office 2010, but the updates are fine. Relieved to still be able to buy it just once!

Office is a good overall software which I enjoy. Buying my new laptop I needed a software to support my old files. This does the trick. I had to call for office support to install it. This software you don’t have to pay anymore for but doesn’t change with newer versions.

It's Microsoft Office. It works, it's reliable, and it's basically the same as older versions. I'm running this software on my kitchen computer - I have little need for more than the Word and Excel programs (although it does come with Power Point). I bought this version because it is a one-time purchase. I can not understand whay someone would want to purchase the yearly subscription/update version since this software changes so little between versions that it is basically a waste of money. The only thing that seems to change between versions is where they put the click point to do what you already know how to do. It's fast, reliable, and generallyr recognized as a standard for file formats. I you don't already own a copy of an older version of Office then it is worth purchasing.

I like having the office suite on my computer rather than having to use the cloud. Always available, even when my internet is not. For security, I can back my files up on an external hard drive

I have been a long time used of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, so I have a lot of legacy files that use these applications. So I wanted the latest versions on the new computer I bought. But I don't need periodic upgrades of the programs, so I bought the one-time purchase version.
