    Great for basic game play. Light in weight. Good volume. Easy controls. You get basic game chat, which is what I wanted. You have to listen to game sound over TV speakers. I got it on sale for $8, so this was a bargain for what I use it for... you want all the whistles and bells, get the Turtle Creek headsets...

    All in all, compared to the other products out there that do the same thing, it is a great price. My son uses it for gaming and talks on it constantly. He's very hard on it and it only lasts about 6 months but if you are careful with it, it will last much longer. My son prefers it over the full headphones because it's not hot on his ears and head. In the 6 month time frame, it is used extensively up to 8 hours a day in some cases.

    This is a no frills headset for chat communication and it fits the bill perfectly. Robustness is a concern as the mic piece fell apart after the headset was dropped once. It is a cheap replacement over the standard Xbox 360 headset and better than the PDP Afterglow which is priced similarly.
