I was looking for something that didn't require a charging base, as I have limited space. This unit was perfect. The battery charges fast via the built-in USB ports on the XBox One, even if the unit is turned off. This battery pack also seems to last longer before needing a charge than regular batteries. For the price, highly recommended!

I bought this hoping it would work fine with my xbox one controller on my windows 10 machine. In the past I had no luck using a play and charge kit with an xbox 360 controller, so I figured I would take the risk. Low and behold the battery works great with the controller and wireless windows 10 adapter, and the included cord will charge off of a usb port on my computer. Well worth the purchase for pc gaming!!

Works great, easy to install and has good battery life. It also charges pretty quick.

This recharge kit is great. I initially purchased rechargeable batteries so that I could play as often as I want to without having my controller batteries go dead but then discovered this and am grateful. After every time I play, I plug in and come back to a fully charged controller! (I did keep the rechargeable batteries though, which now I can dedicate to other remotes)

I thought I needed to check out a play and charge kit, this one was recommended by the associate and I heard nice reviews about this one, so I got one and it saved my Game. Well at least a little when I needed it. ASAP I was gaming again and no wait for a charge first, practically plugged it in and was connected with USB and a new battery, NICE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I bought this charge kit so that I would not have to use batteries, and it works great! The cable is a USB, so it connects easily to the front port on my Xbox One S. The charging is pretty fast, and the cable can even be used with a controller with no batteries in it at all, essentially making it a wired controller. The cable also has a light that changes color to indicate when the controller is done charging, which is a nice convenience. The Xbox One seems to be made with these charge kits in mind, since the controller battery port has little notches to keep the rechargeable one in place, and the top right corner of the home screen tells you that the controller is charging and how much it is charged. Would recommend to anyone who owns an Xbox One.

Perfect companion for the XboxOne controller. Eliminates having to frequently swap out batteries. It's a perfect fit, works perfectly, and is an official Microsoft product. As expected, no issues at all. My only gripe would be that this should be a standard item included with the controller, and shouldn't really be an additional accessory.

I can't believe I ever paid for AA batteries for my Xbox controller. The battery in this pack holds the charge just as long or longer than a fresh pair of AA's, and I no longer have to shell out any cash to charge my controller. This kit should come with the system, I think it's the most useful accessory out there!

Great battery kit for Xbox One If looking for quality, I recommend this battery kit. But if not, other brands would work. Tip: The USB that is used to charge the battery (the one that comes with the battery kit) can be used from other devices that you might have. In other words, the USB is universal (compatible) with other devices.

Every time I buy a new controler the first thing I do is buy a rechargeable kit for it. It's always great to not worry about buying batteries simply plug your control to the xbox one and keep playing. Also I have noticed that the rechargeable battery last long. It's always nice to not have to worry about your controler ever running out.

I love that it comes with a cable allowing you to charge and play when the battery pack is low. Another nice feature isnthe charge light on top of the cable indicating charging or full charge. The only downside is from dead battery to fukl charge is 4-5 hours but gamplay time is double until another charge is needed.

I was looking for a way to minimize my disposable battery purchases. I have used AA batteries for the xbox controller for awhile. I didn't expect the charge and play kit to last as long as it has on one charge, and it charges quickly. A long cord is included so you can use the controller while it charges. Buy this!

WOW. Talk about no more batteries to buy and replace when using this rechargeable battery is a true gem. It comes with a cable interface so you can plug it into the handheld and the other end to the console and never have to worry about the battery outage interfering with your gaming. Great product and highly recommended.

Overall a good add on. Lasts 30+ hours for me, I personally can't say how long it takes to charge as i use it on PC, where the battery indicator isn't availaible, but I leave it plugged in for a few hours and I'm good for the next 20-30 hours at least. Way cheaper than constantly buying expensive batteries.

It comes with a rechargeable battery and a long enough charging cable that connects to the controller directly. So after you put the rechargeable battery into the controller, you will never need to take it out as long as the battery itself is good. Because you charge it through the controller. Then, everything just becomes simple. You don't need to keep storage for more regular batteries. You don't need to worry about the remaining battery life because you can charge it anytime you want! Just simply connect the charging cable to your controller as how you charge your phone. This is a must-have accessory for xbox one!!!

I hate going through disposable batteries, so this rechargeable battery is a great alternative. Plus, being able to plug & play to charge and continue playing is great. There's nothing worse than your batteries dying in the middle of playing CoD and having to sift through drawers trying to find new batteries.

Unless you want to burn through AA batteries, this is a great addition. The specially made rechargeable battery pack is awesome, and it comes with the charging cable. Honestly I think XBOX should include this as a stock option with the system and controllers. Either way though, I highly recommend this

Plug and play is a must have item. A single charge last the same as two double A batteries, but it's much easier to recharge then constantly replace. When your low warning comes on just plug in at next load screen and continue playing seamlessly. I have two, one for me and one for my daughter.

I was tired of replacing batteries in my controller, so the most logical thing was to purchase a play and charge kit. Fits perfectly and charges very fast. I did have to take it out and put back in from the first charge to reset it so to speak so it showed a full charge on the Xbox dashboard.
