It's a shame that xbox doesn't put these into their controllers from the get go, but I heard that microsoft has some sort of a deal with Duracell batteries that's why they expect us to still use double A batteries... Regardlessly these rechargeable packs are not all that expensive and last on charge for a good while. Love that it uses USB-C also..

I’ve been using these for years and even telling my gamers to invest. Way better then constantly buying batteries. Batteries low, plug n play.

This battery is probably the perfect of example of the phrase, “create a problem and sell the solution”, in the argument that Microsoft could’ve made their controllers rechargeable in the first place, but instead require 2 AA batteries instead… this battery basically eliminates the need to buy batteries. It’s easy to put into the controller, charges at an ok speed, and lasts for roughly 4 hours, I might be wrong on that guess. Comes with an extremely long charging cable tho. It’s perfect, but again, you shouldn’t have to pay for something that could’ve came standard with the console.

Up to date working perfectly. Needed my Xbox series x controller to be able to charge and this was the perfect solution.

Very convenient. I just make sure I plug in the USB cable once in a while and gone are my battery worries!! Wish I had bought this much sooner.

It worked great out of the box, and it could not be simpler to understand. The battery life was superb, and I don't have to use up AA batteries anymore. Would highly recommend!

Are you tired of buying expensive batteries every time you go to the store? This battery has an extremely long durability, which has enabled me to play the game for more than two weeks. There is even no further charging. Compared to buying endless batteries. This rechargeable battery is an excellent economical and environmentally friendly plan.

Just pound it in and away you go. It lasts quite a while before you have to charge it, and charging it doesn’t take that long. There are only two cons I can think of: 1) it’s a bit expensive (and, honestly, it should have been included with the system or controller in the first place) and, 2) it doesn’t come with the USB-C plug itself. So make sure you have one of those.

Perfect replacement for using disposable batteries, also the charging cable included is a good length for when your controller starts to die during a long session

Over the years I've stayed away from rechargable batteries. I've always seemed to have bad luck with these. They'll last for a few months and then just stop holding a charge. I've been running through AA batteries like water these past few months, so I decided to take a chance. Overall battery works fine and lasts a few days before a recharge. I've been stuck at home due to an injury, so I've been gaming quite a bit. Only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating, is because when I first got it, I thought it was defective. Put it in the controller correctly, but apparently you have to put a lot of pressure to get the contacts to connect. Originally thought the battery was defective.

I didn't expect much from a battery and USB-C cord. I went in for standard lithium rechargeable batteries, but bought this instead. The cord is one of the best that I have right now, and it is like a 10' cord. I charge my controller at the end of every session, and it is ready when I need it. I think this is a better purchase than batteries I have to charge elsewhere.

Don’t play heavily since I use keyboard and mouse majority of time but great battery it lasts me a good while

Basic and simple rechargeable battery pack for the Xbox series controller. Very similar to the Xbox one rechargeable battery pack in terms of battery life. I usually am able to get about the mid 20ish hours of game play on a single charge. The only negative I can think of is that it charges a bit slow since its a simple battery (about 2-3 hours on a cell phone charger). That isn't a deal breaker since you can always just charge it overnight before hand or you can use a long USB C cable to plug into the Xbox to play games wired like the old days. Overall I feel that the rechargeable battery pack is a good idea and good design by Microsoft since it doesn't make the controller obsolete when the battery eventually breaks itself due to age unlike the PS wireless controllers. I highly recommend it and will buy again.

I love the play and charge kits. I have one for every controller I own. I wish that Microsoft would just make every controller have a built in battery but I also like that I can swap out the battery pack if it ever goes bad.

So far I'm happy with the purchase, battery charge seems to last a good amount of time even though did not notice a big difference from rechargeable batteries. Think that the main reason for buying this battery is that it adds convenience to the charging process and the extra money that you pay to get that convenience is not crazy high.
