Small mouse for a big hand!

For years I've been working with Logitech's Trackman--you know the weird looking thing with the thumbball--because standard mice didn't seem well made for big hands. Whenever I'd rest my palm, invariably I'd click a button I never meant to. Logitech eventually dropped the Trackman and replaced it with a wireless version. Great right? Nope. This version of my beloved computer controller was a noticeably degree smaller than its previous wired older brother, which led to thumb cramping and once more, accidental button mashing. (And more fatigue than I was used to because my pinky finger could not rest on the controller as it could the earlier model, so I had to keep the finger either extended or curled to keep it from accidentally clicking the right mouse button.) This little guy, well I honestly almost overlooked him completely. Sitting there among all manner of similar-looking creatures but with a second look, I noticed the rather high arch on the palm area. When I place my hand on it, thinking I'd just about smother it, having it disappear under my wide palm. What a pleasant surprise! That almost overlooked arch just enough support to allow my palm to rest (toward the top and back) and my fingers to rest on the left and right mouse button. The buttons are not too overly responsive (no accidental clicks simply by letting your fingers rest) but responsive enough to give a satisfying "clicking" result. There's the standard scrolling wheel and an additional "Windows 8" button that I never use but seems to bring up the start menu in desktop mode. Not sure what it might do in the app screen mode because ... well ... I never go there. :) It claims itself to be a Windows 8 mouse but works beautifully on my Windows 7 laptop just as it does on my Win 8 laptop. I've spent well over $1,000 on mice over the years as I'm a multi-machine user but for a quite acceptable price I think I've finally found the mouse for me. I've never had much luck with Microsoft hardware before (especially keyboards that seem to break down over a year or less) and since I can't speak for the future I'm going to sort of stock up on these little guys, picking one up whenever I drop by a Best Buy, just to have a bunch of them--you know--for when they discontinue/change models as every company seems to do once you find something by them you love. ;) I can't believe that after 20 years I'm finally using a standard mouse once more ... and with the kind of comfort I'd never expected form such a small mouse.

Bought this for a laptop which I only use when traveling. Installed it and it worked fine. Turned it off, and put it away with the laptop in the carrying case. About 4 weeks later I need the laptop. Fired it up, and the mouse was dead. Change the battery, and it's still dead. It died in while turned off! I'm pleased with Best Buy, they replaced it for me even though it was more than 30 days since I purchased it. If they hadn't done that, I would have just thrown it away. I dealt with Microsoft Customer (Lack Of) Support in the past, it was the single most frustrating and difficult warranty experience in my life. It literally took 3 hours and phone calls, waiting on transfers, getting looped around endlessly, cut off, dead ends, just to get to the point of being able to talk to a person who could address the problem. That is NO exaggeration! If you think I'm kidding, go to Microsofts online customer support sight, and try to find a phone number to call to get a warranty replacement for a mouse.

This mouse does what it is supposed to do. Its Ambidextrous, my wife who is a lefty has no problems using it and it is comfortable to use, being a Microsoft product it does up and down as well as side to side scroll with the center scroll wheel and there is a built in home button right on the mouse (the blue windows symbol under the scroll wheel) which was surprisingly useful, as i use windows on my mac with parallels regularly. you can also use this mouse pretty much on any surface, i have a glass office table and it works on the bare glass surface albeit a little slow, but i think that can be adjusted in settings. on a proper mouse pad this thing works great. my one and only complaint is that it feels a little small, and i do not have the biggest hands. It is a travel mouse. so its not a deal breaker. its compact for a reason.

Great little mouse for my laptop. I had to look at a you tube video to figure out how to turn it on and off but once I did, it was simple and has great features: Windows button on front top of mouse that toggles your window/start screen in Windows 8. Tap the roller bar left or right to scroll across the items on the Windows screen. Hold the roller bar for a second and it goes to scroll mode. Laptop adapter can be housed on the back side of the mouse for transport. Small convenient size for smaller hands and carrying in a purse or laptop bag. Comfortable fit with grips on sides. Can be used by left or right-handed person. Probably more features that I haven't discovered yet. No negatives yet.

A good travel mouse that uses dongle

A sales rep (at a competitor) told me that all the Sculpt mice were Bluetooth enabled without the USB dongle. So, when I saw this one, I bought it only to find it required the USB dongle. The only Microsoft mouse that is Bluetooth enabled without the USB dongle is the Sculpt Comfort Mouse. I traded the Sculpt Mobile mouse for it. The Sculpt Comfort works great. The signal never gets dropped. I wanted stand alone Bluetooth connectivity to free up a USB port on my laptop and tablet. The Sculpt Comfort does the trick. If you don't need to free up a USB port the Sculpt Mobile is perfect, small and easy to use. If you need to free up the USB port, go with the Sculpt Comfort. It is bigger but fits your hand really well. It is correctly named.

I am a business owner and was looking for a modern, simple yet unique headphone for my daily work session and I must say I am extremely satisfy with this pair of headphone. Not only is the built quality is solid and trendy, the sound is surprisingly better than many other brands and products. The highs and lows are crisp. The bass and treble are balance and distinctively isolated just as advertised. And personally, the design are perfect in this headphone. Even the tiniest detail all add up to compliment it's incredible overall looks and feels. I have owned many of the Beats By Dr. Dre and SOUL product in the pass years but this one easily takes the spotlight.

Works great with windows 8, USB3.0 no issues, has its own Microsoft program to customize the buttons, Windows shortcut but you cannot hold it and do keyboard shortcuts at the same time like with the windows key on the keyboard. Over all very nice, I like the blue light. push the button on the bottom to pop out the USB, push it back in when your done very simple nice design. Bottom line Notebook or Desktop alike this is a very nice mouse, yes it will consume some batteries as any wireless mouse, but its better than having a wire.

I bought the mouse and within 3 days it stopped working. I go to return it and the associate that i had to deal with was very rude and giving me a hard time when I tried to return it. I asked to speak to the manager and when he came over, he said it was my fault the mouse broke and was talking down to me like I was stupid and was very rude. I will never return to the best buy I bought it at unless I can get some sort of compensation for the problems I encountered and how horribly I was treated.

What's great about it: Battery lasts extraordinarily long, and works smoothly. What's not so great: It is only for windows 7 & 8, so don't buy it for older systems. This mouse works very well, and it is convenient to be able to access my start menu from a push of a button, and it is convenient to side scroll from the scroll wheel. The absolute best thing about this mouse is its battery saving capability. You don't have to worry about turning the mouse off before you leave, it has an automatic power saving sleep mode that works exceptionally well.

Was looking to purcahse a mouse for my new laptop in order to better handle projects in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and this mouse gets the job done. I wasn't looking to get something with all the bells and whistles, so the pricepoint was a no-brainer. Overall, a suitable mouse that gets the job done and provides a handy quick access button to the windows menu on the mouse itself. The battery is rated to last for about 10 or 11 months, and so far I have not had any problems (albeit I use it only for illustrator/photoshop work).

I have above average sized hands and the mouse is somewhat undersized, but is within my tolerance. The buttons provide an appropriate amount of resistance and the wheel functions flawlessly. The major issue with the device is the limited range. When using the mouse with my laptop, it functions as intended. However, when connected to my desktop the mouse loses the line of sight(los) and functionality becomes sporadic. I don't know if it is due to the los or because of the distance between the mouse and receiver/transmitter.

We bought this mouse just about 3 weeks ago, it was shortly after we had purchased our new Windows 8 computer. We were looking for something that was wireless and inexpensive. This fit both of our needs. It has great range and we love the Windows start screen button on the mouse. It allows us to be able to get back to the start screen from anywhere we might be. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a mouse for their Windows 8 computer. It is the best accessory we have bought for this computer.

I bought this mouse during a black friday sale ($11.99) and it works so great. (I wouldn't pay anything more than $15 for this - just wait for the sales) Little 'pocket home' for the USB so you won't lose the component Battery life: 9/10 Change it once every 6-9 months (just remember to turn it off every time after usage) Sensitivity: 10/10 Shape/cosmetics: 10/10 Works with my Macbook Pro + Windows bootcamp I've since bought 4 more for the rest of my family members.

I bought this mouse because I like the size, feel, and look of it. I plugged it in and it lagged across the screen very badly. At first I was worried and thought it was my Computer, but then I put in another wireless logitech mouse and it worked fine. I took the mouse back and purchased the same mouse hoping the one I got earlier was a defective one. I ran across the same exact problem with the second one. I would not recommend this mouse to anyone and I wonder how the other reviews are so good.

I bought this mouse because it was the best one for its price range. I would rather have gotten a unifying mouse but those were much too expensive. This mouse has two buttons and a four way scroll. It's a cinch to set up on my Microsoft computer where I just plugged in the receiver and turned on the mouse. The drivers and everything were automatically set up and I have had no issues using the mouse with either of my laptops. The size is pretty good to throw it in my bag and travel with it.

I had the Microsoft 3500 before this one and it lasted me years...I found this one on sale and had some points to use to ended up getting it for under 10 bucks. So far so good, it works great, battery life is wonderful, and seems to be more than equal to 3500 I had before. I don't leave home without it and my laptop....I hate the touchpad so this mouse is a must. Fits comfortable in my hand, scroll wheel does its job, and the Microsoft button is an added bonus.

Mouse is doing its job. Nothing so extraordinary about it, at the end it is a wireless mouse. It has one extra button which opens the windows menu. I don't use it at all though. When I was buying it, it was a bit pricey. Actually, I thought the mouse is bluetooth when buying it, later on I realized that it was not. But, it didn't worth to send it back to replace. Lesson learned: read product definition much carefully and don't mess up several browser windows.

I got this mouse to replace my Apple mouse. It's not Bluetooth so you have to plug the little USB device into a port in your computer. I use it with my MacBook Air and also with a PC we have in the house and it works great with both of them. It also has a space underneath to keep the USB device so you won't lose it, which I really like. It's very comfortable to use and very responsive. As soon as you turn it on and plug in the USB device it's ready to use.
