Some may refer to this as tablet that does laptop stuff, but it is exactly the opposite, this a full blown laptop with the flexibility of a tablet. One thing to consider though is to buy one of those USBC multi adaptors so that you can connect the device to external screens and have extra inputs.

As a tech guy, I’m really particular about what I buy, so after doing a ton of research I chose the Surface Book 2, and have yet to be disappointed. I primarily bought this for my online masters program and majority of the time use it as a laptop, but I like the option of detaching the screen during live chats or to take notes in OneNote.

I love that I can choose how to use it and how easy it was to figure everything out. The only thing that I wish I could change it the backlighting to the keyboard. It is hard to read the keys in some light. I would either like to change the brightness or the color. Other than that I love it.
