I was looking for a backlit keyboard laptop, and at the suggestion of the on site Microsoft rep, I reviewed this product. Went home and researched the snot out of it. Best Buy had the best available price so I made the purchase. I am an outside sales rep and when I tell you this was the best purchase I have ever made as a sales person, I am telling the gods honest truth. This product is so versatile it saves me almost every day.

This laptop is great! My daughter needed a new laptop to start college. We went to Best Buy to look at all the options and she choose this one. It has so many fantastic features that will make her school work easier! It is quick and the surface pen you can purchase to go with it makes it even better!

It's fun. It's adaptable. It's the perfect size/weight. For being the 2nd laptop I've owned in my life, the Surface Book 2 has not disappointed. I'd love to have a number pad but...smaller size, have to sacrifice wants! Having the Surface Pen helps, especially since the screen (although clear as a cloudless day) is sometimes adverse to my "fat finger" syndrome. Even still! This laptop has done me proud...the tablet disconnects with ease, people!!

I purchased this 2n1 after my hp envy gave up on me. In all honesty I'm not the most tech savvy person so an easy to use device is ideal. I love this surface book because its fast and super easy to use. I mostly use it for book keeping for my husband's business and its serving that purpose.

2nd Surface Book2. Had 1 gen. Which is still in operation. This one is so much faster. Software runs seemless. Love the keyboard, esp due to additional battery on the keyboard so when battery gets low on tablet, can attach to keyboard and still use if no power outlet available.

Excellent and easy to use. We use as both a laptop and desktop by connecting to 24 in monitor. It has become our hh only computer. Our last surface lasted over 6 years and was still performing well. Our son is going to use it for note taking in his classes.

I love how versatile this laptop is. I love that I can quickly turn it into a tablet or just use it as a laptop. The battery life is absolutely amazing. I've been using this laptop daily for about a month now and I'm in love with it!

I've owned a few Surface Pros, and those things are pretty weak compared tot he Surface Book 2. While I worry MS is about to release an update, this model SB2 is fine for what I need and was on major sale when I bought it. Good times!

Excellent computer. Very versatile and not heavy. I like that it has a lot of accessories you can buy to protect it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, specially to creators like photographers, graphics designers, etc.

This Surface Book 2 is incredible with the speed, life of the battery and detachable screen. The multiple usb-c, usb 3.0 make for a versatile computer for college. Nice graphics board and great size to get the job completed.

Look nice, lots of functionality that make great like touch screen, writing in my notes with surface pen. Being able to detach screen and using it as a tablet. It also has a long battery life to take you through the day

Very nice laptop. Easy to use. Love how the touch screen and detachable screen to use as a pad. The charging cable is a magnet to keep from kids and dogs from pulling it off the table which is very nice.

My daughter got this when her Dell died because the mother board went. She absolutely loves this machine. We did have a hardware issue that Best Buy hard to repair but she has had no issues since. She loves the versatility of the machine. She was looking at going to a Macbook but chose this instead and is very happy.

First and foremost, this is a true 2-in-1. You can detach the screen portion so that it's just like a big tablet, but you still have access to all of your files like a computer. It gives you the best of both worlds. It's great for digital illustrations - the pens and pencils are pressure sensitive. As a Math tutor, I also love the ink to Math option. I can write out math problems, and have the computer solve them - it even includes all of the steps. This is great for a quick check and is also a good tool for students. The battery life has been great for me, pen responsiveness is great, and the SSD hard drive makes for extremely quick boot times.

I am very satisfied with this laptop, it is super fast and so practical, you can carry just the touch screen with you for up to 4 hours while you get comfortable away from your desk. Love it.

I a Surface Pro for myself and was so impressed with that that I bought this Surface Book for my son to start college with. Both a table and a laptop, fantasy screen great size and light weight!

This is one of the most versatile pieces of computing equipment we’ve ever owned. It’s a laptop, it’s a tablet and powerful. It’s the second one we’ve owned. Got this one with more memory than the last and am very happy with it. The last one was accidentally left on our car roof and stayed there until we reached 70 mph on the highway. We picked up the pieces and went directly to the Geek Squad at our local Best Buy. Screen shattered, keyboard in pieces, unable to be docked at all. They hooked up the power cable to the bottom of the tablet and unbelievably, it came on and functioned. They were able to transfer everything to the new Surface Book! Amazingly Hardy to say the least!

So far I'm loving my Surface Book 2. I use it frequently and both in separated tablet mode and connected as a laptop. It's zippy enough for everything I do and for my son's gaming too.

Super fast, super easy to work with. Light, portable. The feature that allows you to use it as a tablet is great. Very happy with this purchase and I would highly recommend.

High quality build, lightweight and flexible. Powerful enough for my office work, I have it hooked into a Surface Dock with 2 monitors and a wireless keyboard. Recommend.
