Magnetically attaches to the Surface, and stays attached very well. Has a key backlight with 3 brightness levels for typing in lower light. Keys feel reasonable for such a thin keyboard. Touchpad works well, with the exception it sometimes does not do a 2 finger scroll. Another small gripe is that I see no way to adjust the backlight time out. It is quite short. Still recommend....

I only wish it had another USB port so a USB, a port and a USB-C port plus the headphone jack. Or even a USB a port, a USB seaport, another USB-C port, and a headphone jack. Overall, though I am 100% happy with this thing and have use it for work While I’m on vacation, and to take notes at meetings that I go to. I used a surface in 2015 and the experience was less than optimal. I’m so glad that things have taken a turn for the better in the positive. This is my first time using a service laptop, and it hopefully will not be my last.

This is the keyboard that was designed by Microsoft specifically for the Surface Go. Beautiful design and seamless look when connected. Great key spacing for easy typing. Great materials and quality feel. The price is quite a bit higher than other non-Microsoft options, but you get what you pay for here! Definitely would recommend over purchasing other brand options.

It is like having an actual computer. I have had this for about a year or so and I am having an issue with the backspace button. I am not sure whether it is the keyboard itself or maybe a software issue. I will be doing research to determine so but overall I am satisfied with the product.
