I’m overall pleased with the laptop so far. It’s lightweight, easy to use and has a good display. I haven’t fully leveraged the AI functionality yet so I can’t commit to saying it’s good/bad as of yet.

A great update to the Microsoft Surface laptop series of computers. I am writing this review on the laptop itself. The MSL7 15 inch baseline model is a great device to purchase now that it includes 16GB of RAM by default. The battery life is great (but doesnt quite catch up to a MacBook Air/Pro). The display is really good and I love that I can upgrade the SSD to a larger drive if I wanted to. As a competitor to the MacBook Air, I would say that the only thing it fails in is battery life but it is still miles ahead of prior Surface devices. The typing experience is great. Any issues with the computer are going to be due to Windows and not the hardware itself. If I could improve the Surface laptop line in any way, I would reduce the price some to be closer in line to other Windows laptop manufacturers.

Overall I am very happy with my new Surface 7 Laptop. The only issue there is a lack of ports, necessitating an additional purchase of an adapter. There is only full size USB port which uses the mouse bluetooth.

My son purchased the 15" version after I bought the 13" one for my daughter in college. The smaller laptop vs. pro was her preference for school as the pro is too cumbersome to use on your lap. I was a little hesitant to get her a Copilot+ version as my son was not convinced it had come into its own. My son wanted this laptop for school vs a gaming laptop because the latter so often overheat. So far he is delighted with the speed of the Snapdragon X Elite, the steady temperatures and the battery life is as promised. I will update review if this changes.

Great laptop for school. Very fast. Lightweight with larger touchscreen.

Blazing fast file and app openings. Battery is so good that using 1 to 2 hours a day it only needs charged every 5 to 6 days! Only downside is it wont connect to my Boss Katana guitar amp. Evidently a known issue with Snapdragon processors.

The computer is fast, graphics are beautiful and lightweight. Love having the touchscreen option.

Haven’t used it to its full capacity yet but so far it has met my expectations…vivid color, fast processing and very light weight

First off, a disclaimer. This uses an ARM architecture, so there may be compatibility issues with some programs. However, if you know that all of your programs will work with this laptop, it's an amazing option. The build quality is top notch, the access to the SSD is extremely easy, the battery life lasts forever, and it stays silent throughout.

This replaced a Surface Pro 8 tablet my college business student was using. She says she does homework in bed and the laptop form factor works better for her. She says it boots up quick, battery lasts forever, is really fast and does everything she needs. I was skeptical of the processor, but she's had no issues.

So far. So good, this laptop works great, though i did have to adjust to the ARM architecture of the Snapdragon processor

The Snapdragon CPUs with ARM architecture have a great battery life. Windows x64 emulation on ARM is pretty good these days. There are some limitations but most users will not encounter them. Other than that, it's a pretty premium feeling laptop. If you are a little bit handy, you can replace the SSD with any M 2230 SSD (just search a bit to see the stable models and buy one of those) easily. You just need to open 5 screws total.

The battery life is phenomenal in comparison to Intel and AMD based Windows laptops. I can fully charge this, let it sleep for two days, and have full confidence that it will have enough battery for two days of use. I personally found the LCD display to be better than most of the OLED models. Screen refresh is great. Colors and contrast are not a problem. The resolution is perfect for small text, alleviating any potential scenarios for eye strain. This would be a perfect option for your general college students or those who are looking for a general-use laptop with a very high-endurance battery. Getting through an entire day of work on a charge is not a worry, and the Surface gets a near-full charge within an hour. Some applications do behave in a strange manner. I've been using this one with slicing software like Prusa, Orca, and AnkerMake Studio. Installing/Uninstalling applications were where I hit some snags. It took over 10 minutes for an uninstaller to appear. Not a big problem and an expected issue with the latest hardware. Overall - not meant to be a workstation. Battery is significantly better than expected and gets through the day without a second thought. Performance is plenty enough to hold over very well for the years to come.

A slim laptop with a fantastic screen, includes a USB port and plenty of memory for my needs. The battery charge lasts an exceptionally long time without a charge.

Amazing build quality and battery life, beautiful display and the haptic trackpad feels great. Performance is also really good but be aware that this laptop uses an ARM processor that may present compatibility issues with the software you use. Make sure your software runs before you buy!

Very pleased with my Best Buy Laptop. It great for running a small business

Great functionality and performance given the well equipped Microsoft surface laptop, but there are some things that don’t make a lot of sense to me at least but for others may be insignificant such as the abundance of USB-C ports but no HDMI, USB A/B, Ethernet, etc. The screen and resolution/overall display is very impressive and I would compare it to an LED/OLED possibly but something is just lacking regarding the aesthetics. It’ll get the job done and a certain better than most on the market, especially with the sale price and the performance for the money, but you need to buy it right otherwise there are others to consider which offer just as much if not better.

I really like the laptop. It is easy to use and the bigger screen is easier to see and use as a touch screen

It's been a great laptop. Great build quality, battery life. And I haven't really had any issues with Windows ARM.

This laptop is great! It's fast, runs solid, has a great touchpad and keyboard, and is well supported through software updates by Microsoft. I highly recommend.
