Laptop itself is great. Remember, if you already have a microsoft account and they go to sell it to you at the store do not buy it. You can have 5 devices which was on me cause I asked and the guy said yea you could switch it but you would lose it on the last device. Also, if you have rocket money you can get them to reduce the price of your personal account, 69.99 for me. Also, if you are a vet or AD buy from your post exchange. I could have gotten this laptop for around 600 dollars and best buy will not price match. I bought the 32gb 1TB for 100 dollars less than bestbuys promotional and it was brand new not their out of stock repackaged version they are selling online. Finally as a side note it is disappointing that corporations are hiring people who know little to nothing about the section they are in. I went to get a new laptop for my wife and asked about the surfaces and what the guy thought about them. He pulled out his phone scanned the qr code and read the reviews. I can do that I want someone who is in the know in all the brands who could provide that feedback on those laptops that meet my needs. There was a day in the circuit city days that if you asked someone in a section they knew and could sell you on different brands a shame.

So far, it's been a decent computer. I like very much that it is light and doesn't heat up, which is likely a good sign of its efficiency. The battery life appears to be very good although I don't have another laptop to compare it to. A charge will last 5-6 days of using the computer 1hr per day. I did have one dissappointment - it will not run NORD VPN. I'm already subscribed to NORD VPN on my old computer and I wanted to continue with this new laptop. The install program displays a message that it is not an x86 CPU. Perhaps there will be future support for Snapdragon CPUs but not as of today. Surfshark is supposed to work on this platform but I haven't tried it yet. I'm holding out a bit longer to see if NORD's next release will add Snapdragon support.

This Surface laptop is great! It's fast, has all the latest technology and should last many years. I love the larger screen size so I can watch tv on it. And the Window's programs, including Copilot, make it all seemless.

I have had a surface for the past 5 years, but my new surface is faster, lighter, and overall better performance. I love the touch screen feature.

I love the computer, but wasn't told that the ARM chip would not be compatible with my older Canon laser just printer. Had I've known this I probably wouldn't have bought it. Otherwise I love the screen size and color is rich.

Getting a new laptop is incredibly stressful for me--I worry about my apps not installing correctly, losing data, etc. But this time, setup was insanely smooth and easy. Everything about the machine itself feels very well designed and surprisingly pleasurable to use. Highly recommended!

The battery life and performance on the new X Elite chips is too good to pass up. If you’re looking for a new laptop ARM is the go-to. And if you’re looking for a windows laptop this certainly won’t disappoint.

The surface laptop 7 is wonderful. The 15 inch screen is bright and crisp. I dont really use the touchscreen, but it’s a nice bonus. Trackpad is Mac-like, meaning it is in a league of its own. The key travel is excellent. The design is flawless - best there is right now for a Windows PC. The storage ssd is easily accessible and upgradable. I went from 512 to 2tb for about $100. I love the black shell/exterior. It’s sturdy and fingerprints do show, but wipe away easily. It still looks brand new. Only con has to do with Qualcomm ARM64 processor’s compatibility. Of everything I use, only one thing is completely incompatible. It’s an HP thermal printer I use for shipping labels (no driver - still). Otherwise - zero complaints.

This is my 3rd Surface - wanted one w/a bigger screen than my previous ones. Great product for me, I'm able to use it @ home on our home network & travel seamlessly when we're on the road. Great product.

I’ve been through plenty of computers over the years, and most of them start slowing down the second you put 'em to work. Not this one. This Surface Laptop is hands-down the fastest machine I’ve ever used. That new Snapdragon chip isn't just hype—it handles everything I throw at it without the fans kicking on like a jet engine. I took it off the charger at 7 AM, worked on it all day, and still had plenty of juice left by dinner. The screen is sharp enough to actually see what you’re doing, and the whole thing feels solid, not like some cheap plastic toy. If you want something that just works and doesn’t give you any grief, this is the one to get.

I like the laptop very much - lightweight and sturdy so good for travel. Also, very easy to set up and utilize. The watch out is more on customer service for Best Buy - I bought this and they didn't have it in the store so it was mailed to me. Turns out it was sold by "Best Buy Marketplace". I had no idea. So when I went to price match (paid the extra $40 to be able to price match for 60 days) and saw it was sold cheaper on Best Buy marketplace the next week, they wouldn't match the lower price. I also worry about Best Buy honoring the warranty since it was sold by Best Buy Marketplace. So ask the question - is this sold by Best Buy or Best Buy Marketplace. Seems like they should be more transparent.
