Amazing computer from Microsoft. It is fast and light. Beautiful design as well. Nothing negative to say after a few months of use. Battery seems to be pretty durable.

Lighter with more battery life than earlier model (and both were v/good to begin with) - also it's faster. But the best new feature is a rejiggered keyboard... key touch and touch pad, are now solid and reliably responsive - much improved from earlier edition which had skipping and related issues (very annoying). Backlighting also was improved. net, net, gen II is a very professional device... i like a lot!!

Lightweight with great color; computer so far is easy to access the Internet; task bar is the best for navigating the setting, computer programs, apps on the Microsoft computer; switching between actions on the Internet occurs quickly ; battery charges in a snap; there is comfort level for correct alignment when typing and operation key in the keyboard is unique.

I've always heard great things about this laptop and I can definitely see why. I'm a student, so I don't need a lot of RAM and memory, but I love how well it operates. The keyboard is also comfortable and great for typing long essays. It does get a little warm after using it for a bit, but overall I love it!

I haven't stopped using it from the moment I opened the box. I absolutely love it! It's light weight, easy to use, fast, and while I haven't used it for anything heavy duty yet...I have no doubt that it will be up to the task. The screen is a perfect size for me and the touch screen is on point. I can't say enough good things about this device.

Perfect size, extremely fast, easy to download documents. I would absolutely buy this laptop again if given the chance. I got it back in 2020 and 2 years later, there hasn't been any issues. Battery life is great & charges fast as well.

I did a lot of comparative shopping for an laptop with an i5 and a 13 inch screen, with portability and speed being the most important characteristics we needed. The Microsoft Surface laptops may not be the cheapest but they more than make up for it in quality. A solid purchase.

Purchased this device because mine crashed right before I had to start working remotely. It is a light device, easy to transport. Keyboard is very smooth to type and the "carpet-like" material makes it comfortable for the hands. Good for multitasking Battery life is alright- lasts long enough

I am in love with my new Microsoft surface laptop! Switching from a Mac book I was definitely nervous that I wouldn’t like it as much, but I honestly love it ever more. It’s user friendly, light-weight, and fast. It’s everything I wanted and more.

Compared to any other i5 8GB RAM on the market, I'd say this a top tier laptop for basic laptop for low to moderate performance. The screen resolution is better than any other laptop I've used before, including several Macbooks. The lack of side ports was a turn-off for me when I first purchased, but after using the USB-C adapter for additional ports I don't really have an issue with it. I would not recommend this laptop for gaming, I don't think it's made for that high of performance. The only 2 real issues I have with this computer are: 1) I was told by the store employee that I could see a maximum of 11.5 hours of battery life with this computer, which is also what Microsoft tries to market online. However, I am lucky to get a maximum of 6.5 hours. Perhaps if I had 1 word document open and nothing else then maybe it'd fit the maximum life, but it's very unlikely. 2) I really don't have the ability to save anything large. I wish the base model for this product came with a 256GB SSD, but for $200 more you can fix that. All around, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This laptop is perfect for any college student. It's really thin and super light. The body is made of aluminum, unlike other laptops. Very fast and nice feeling keyboard. Long battery life and quick charge ability.

Lightning quick speeds, incredibly good resolution, amazing battery life and very lightweight. What more can one ask for? Oh yeah, it’s touchscreen as well. Overall an outstanding buy! Very satisfied.

I bought this for zoom calls and office work. It works great! The display is amazing, the size is easy for mobility, the speed is amazing, and the battery lasts long.

Love it, fast and screen is crystal clear. Light weight and easy to carry. Only one time it was not able to start, but goolged the problem and it solved.

Super light, super fast, battery life seems to be great. Exactly what we needed for email, browsing and light word processing using the free Office online.

I own an apple and have Got my wife a few different brand X computers. So I took the same approach that I did to Appl. I bought Microsoft! All the dumb troubles that you have is because Brand X tries to run their own operating system over windows. I’m truly impressed, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this computer. Easy to set up. Very fast. Who knows may make a conversion the next time I need a computer.

The laptop is very user friendly, fast and light. I like its size and weight for ease of travel. The screen is easy on the eyes and very sharp.

I use this 100% for work (zoom meetings, and running a few programs) NEVER GAMING and the machine gets hot from time to time.....esp when plugged in. I bought a lil desk fan and I try to unplug it a few hours a day. My only other issue, and this might be windows not the machine, is that is randomly reboots at night when I did not shut it down or restart it. I set the schedule correctly (so it reboots once weekly) but apparently others have had this problem on this machine. Performance-wise, looks, comfort, everything else is great. I recommend getting the external mouse just makes things easier if you are sitting at a desk. (A few more ports would def be helpful, but not that serious)
