Very disappointed in the product that was purchased the quality seems good however the computer itself is slow the processor is terrible memory is of no almost nothing… I highly recommend everybody stay away from this brand as it’s very disappointing disappointing

This is perhaps the worst laptop I have ever purchased, especially given the maturity of the hardware and software. The lack of ports and the non-removable battery is frustrating. The implementation of windows 10 is unbelievably flawed. The cursor constantly disappears rendering the unit inoperable. I have to use the power button or task manager to shutdown and reboot to get the cursor back. Now, the latest insult is using google as the default search engine causes MS edge to crash. Of course, when using Bing, Edge works fine. This unit is going back.

I bought my Surface in September 2020. Now in February 2022, my battery won't hold a charge, so I cant use it unless it's plugged in. I've contacted Microsoft support and they've tried everything from hardware updates to resetting the product, but my battery still won't charge. They let me know it is around $300 to have the battery replaced. For a $1100 laptop, I expect more than a year and a half of performance.

I have tried to call, and have written an email explaining the hardware failure that happened about 8 days ago that made the Surface laptop useless - no internet. I need to replace the computer as a major hardware failure is not reasonable.

After 2 month of use the screen goes dark and bright constantly and today it turned off and will not turn back on. Been charging it for 4 hours and still nothing. Don't waste your money on this laptop it's just not worth it!

While on a trip my screen inexplicably developed a crack. I continued to use this laptop as I was away from home (3 weeks). I had a screen protector delivered to arrest further cracking, although more cracks developed. I sent in 3 month laptop in for warranty repair when I got home. MS denied claim.
Google Surface 3 laptop screen cracks, I'm not the only one.

I have total tec. I was told that my Lenovo unit also bought at BB had much more data than new unit has I had to buy an external data source. Geeks transferred the data but when I opened the new unit and it was “ naked” I was told they don’t transfer any software even being able to print. I was extremely disappointed and returned the new Microsoft book

I purchased this item through Best Buy and until the evening of July 22, it worked like a charm. Then it died without noticed. I previous had a Surface Pro tablet laptop . It worked for two years before suddenly dying.

This laptop crashes all the time. Since day one. We purchased the anti virus it came with. It’s only used for work and school. You literally can’t use it with out it crashes. It looses internet connection regularly as well. Will never buy another surface product.

16 months old and the keyboard just stopped working. Local shop wants $560 to replace it. I would never buy another Microsoft product. I have a few other brands of laptops and never had such an issue

Tried to get a refund but got the run around from customer service. As of yet no exchange or contact.

I opened the box and the screen never came on. I charged the battery for hours. Still no screen. This computer caused more frustration in 2 hours than the entire year of 2020 could think of causing.
