I was extremely excited to have this be my new work machine until my fingers began typing. Ended up knowing this was a return before I got halfway through the Windows 10 setup. This has the Alcantara which I’ve used on the Surface Laptop 1 and 2 but oh boy is it a disaster on the 3 the entire keyboard doesn’t just flex towards the center, it pretty much caves in. Immediately made a gorgeous laptop feel like a knock off.

Be sure to get the extended warranty! You'll need it! I bought this on March 25, 2020. Just 3 months later, the backlight went out. Best Buy was great and sent it out for repair at no cost to me. October rolled around and it started overheating and shutting off, Best Buy sent it off again, but this time it came back unrepaired and I was advised to send it to Microsoft. Really? I expected more from a $2,000 laptop. Buyer beware.

I would avoid this laptop. Purchased this for business and less then 2 months into using it started to get the infamous image ghosting on the screen. Never heard about this issue until I Google'd it and found out tons of other users have the same issue on their Surface laptops. Serious hardware flaw in the screen.

I hate this product. Coming from a mac where it is easy to take screenshots, create PDFS, and easily access and manage my files - the Surface Laptop 3 is hell for me to use.

I normally use a mac computer (laptop and desktop), but I had to have a PC for a specific software I use for work. THIS COMPUTER IS EXCELLENT! It is lightning fast, lightweight, extremely portable and chic. Furthermore, the resolution is excellent. I actually prefer using this laptop over my mac! Highly recommend!

I've been an avid Apple/Mac user for a long time, and when my macbook pro (2013) was starting to fail on me, it was time to look for a new laptop. Especially since I was going to start grad schoo, I needed a nice sturdy laptop for everyday use. I was going to go for another brand new Macbook Pro, but after seeing this laptop, I just fell in love. I decided to take the risk, and go for a PC and see how it was going to be. So glad I did, because this laptop is just amazing! Doesn't heat up, really fast, and the touchscreen is a plus as well, even though I hardly use it. The only con I can say about this laptop, is that I wish the battery lasted a bit longer. And the fact that it doens't have the FaceTime app as compared to the Mac. But I can live with that. I really became a Microsoft fan after this purchase.
