I am qbsolutely thrilled with the new Microsoft Surface Laptop 5! I love how it looks and how compact it is. It's windows version of like a Mac book to give you an idea what it's like. It has a great keyboard with a sleek design and an awesome touch screen. The design is incredible and the aluminum housing definitely has a beautiful aesthetic feel and look . The screen resolution is sharp and very impressive to boot. Setup was very easy. As soon as I open the laptop it turned on and Cortana helped guide me in the setup process. I really love that you can use the USB-C port for charging or the included power adapter that uses a magnetic connection to the suface pro connect port. The keyboard is phenomenal. The layout is good for typing and the large touchpad is accurate and responsive. The webcam captures sharp images and even performs well in low light. The microphone I tested out and my voice came pit loud and clear. This will be perfect when I have zoom meetings and research studies that require me to be talking and being interactive. This laptop would be great for watching entertainment activities such as TV shows, movies, YouTube, and Netflix. I haven't noticed any lag or sluggishness when I have multipe windows open. Overall am very impressed with the performance of this laptop and can't wait to use it even more for years to come!

I am so glad I bought this laptop as an open box for $467 instead of its actual $1,299 price. Its small size is perfect for me, and I am glad it is lightweight and has a touchscreen with a backlit keyboard. I am not a tech nerd, but I can't complain about its quality because it has all the main features I want (mentioned above), and I got it at a more reasonable price. I definitely recommend this laptop, but would not pay full price for it in this economy.

Great design! Looks very professional and very modern. Light weight and easy to carry around. The speed is very fast and very easy to use. It’s fully compatible with Microsoft windows and MS Office. I strongly recommend this product.

Purchased for girlfriend so these are her words. From the moment I unboxed this laptop, I was taken aback by its sleek design and solid build quality. The display is sharp and vibrant, making both work tasks (office applications) and leisure activities (Disney+ and YouTube) enjoyable. The performance is top-notch; multitasking is a breeze, and there's no hint of lag even with multiple applications open. The battery life is impressive, allowing me to browse hours on end without a charge. I must say, this laptop exceeded all my expectations and has become an indispensable tool in my daily life in its short time with me.

I really enjoy the features and quality of this laptop. It is very lightweight and smooth touch. The vibrant color is like no other. The screen is touchscreen so that is very time efficient. Documents load are fast and easy. The touchscreen keyboard is a new feature for me but i am still getting use to it. The battery life last long and charges in no time.

Ive had my surface for over a year and i love it. I had the more expensivensurfacbefore this that transformed into tablet but didnt use that feature. This one is lightweight and has touch screen and has been problem free. Battery life is great. I love it.

This model is a huge improvement over the previous folio surface. It has excellent display and is lightening fast. It is also very light weight. Your regular external hard drive will work with the surface. It was very easy to set up and can transfer your data from an old laptop at lightening speed. I would highly recommend this produce. Great sale price!

I bought this because it had all the features I wanted, according to reviews: fast, a sturdy build, touchscreen, multiple sign-in options, a good battery life, and a backlit keyboard. Most of these thing hold up, but there's lots of little things that are weird. Not enough vents, Face ID can't recognize me with glasses, the charger falls out if the cord is stretched (some reviews said it also came with a wireless charger but I think maybe they received PR or something, because mine didn't) and there's no change in light to tell me once it's charged if the laptop is closed. I'd read about the wide bezel on the screen, which I didn't think would bother me, except I watch a lot of Youtube and and the fullscreen format isn't compatible with my dimensions, I guess? So there's black bars around every full screen video in addition to the wide black bezel. I'm probably going to return, but was surprised because the reviews for this device were so overwhelmingly positive. (Also, I didn't think it was that fast, but I may be partial to Ryzen processors now. I got the spinning wheel of death a couple times installing Chrome onto the laptop.)

Bought this new laptop for school and it's amazing. So lightweight, fast, efficient, love the touchscreen and how easy it is to setup.

This computer definitely impressed me. I was looking for a minimalistic laptop primarily for research, school, and writing, and this laptop scores high for it all. Some of the pros are It's got great battery life. Around eight hours is what I have mine clocked in at. Good screen settings, so you can adjust the brightness or go to darker screen settings for those late nights, and a touchscreen that wowed my family when they saw it. The keyboard is sensitive, the way I prefer it, though the lack of a 10-key could be an issue for some, but I've been fine without it. I got the sage color, and I LOVE the look. I would say "cons" are only that because it's a touchscreen and it's so small that sometimes when I'm typing stuff I bump the screen and it throws off where I'm at. But maybe that can be fixed by turning off the touchscreen mode. Amd because it's a touchscreen it would be wise to invest in a good screen protector for the laptop. So that will cost a little extra. But these things are all minor next to the quality of the product.

I've been using the Microsoft Surface Laptop for a year now, and I really love it! I got it in the color pink. It’s lightweight, quiet and easy to carry around, which is perfect for my busy days on campus. It handles everything I need without any issues, and the battery life is fantastic, usually lasts all day, even with classes and studying. Overall, it’s stylish and reliable, and I’d definitely recommend it to other students, especially if you are a nursing student.

I needed to find a replacement computer for my wife who is really hard on them even though they rarely leave her desk. In addition to being "rugged", it need to have a smaller screen, reasonable battery life, performance , and (my requirement) free of 3rd party bloatware. The Surface Laptop meets the bill (she wishes the green was greener) and is still performing as well as the day we bought it over a month and a half ago.

It is everything that I needed from a laptop. It looks nice, it is light and it is touch screen. I needed it for work and it definitely did the job for me. The processor is fast. The main reason I got it is to be able to do work anywhere and I am glad I got it

It’s light and not bulky. I bought it for school but have used it for web surfing, social media and it’s everything you’re looking for. Gteat performance and ease of use. Also fun color options which you dont see very often.
