This laptop has been fantastic. I do a lot of development work and having the power of this has been nothing short of amazing. Im surprised Microsoft has been turning up some great products recently.

This laptop is easy to use and the charge lasts pretty long for the amount of time I’m using it. Only downside is there’s only 2 usb c ports.

For the teaching and training I do it works well. I enjoy the size and screen positions the Studio laptop offers. The complaint I have is that Microsoft touts sustainability and the Surface line is upscale but the battery can’t be replaced and there are only two thunderbolt ports. This is inexcusable.

Immaculate. I would buy this machine again. Graphics are pristine, reaction time competitive, and my overall satisfactions with this device warrants a 5-star rating.

After being a dedicated Apple customer, this is the second Surface computer from Microsoft that I have purchased, and I have been thrilled with the results. The computer is exceptionally powerful, the keyboard and trackpad are very tactile, and the touchscreen is extremely precise and responsive.

Does great with simulation games such as Sims4 and Cities Skylines. Also runs Revit and AutoCAD well. Not as powerful as a full size desktop, but very efficient, lightweight, and it can run three monitors well.

great being able to go back and forth from my pc to this one one drive, since i have a wacom, i couldnt do that with the ipad I only use fully open flat on a desk or normal laptop mode lying down, the in between modes just make the screen feel flimsy and vulnerable

Very fast computer that has helped me in my interior architecture class. Works well with photoshop and CAD.

Might be Windows 11, but the scaling is hit and miss, and Chrome will go black occasionally while watching videos but come back. Other than that it’s a pretty robust package for the size and weight. Hoping both issues are just software related. Also, it would be nice if they’d update it to a 12th or 13th Gen Intel, RTX 4050, and WiFi 6E but after getting $400 off it was a good value.

The best touch screen on the market. Works flawlessly with all Microsoft and Google enterprise apps. The new fold over design is flawless and so convenient. Be sure to grab the new slim pen, the magnetic dock is super strong and so far I haven't been able to accidentally unstick it! I bought this with the new protection plan because of the new design of the screen. As a teacher, I will use this laptop daily both at work and at home, so the protection plan gives me the peace of mind that if this new technology can't stand up to such hard use, the protection plan will keep me covered. At home this computer is powerful enough for me to game with it - I just hook it up to my big monitor, full size keyboard and mouse and go.

Amazing laptop for a college student, extremely convenient for coding, drawing, power, battery life, performance, and taking notes in lectures.

Got it on sale but before Best Buy dropped the price even further. Customer Service quickly price matched the new price. For the price I really think got a good deal. Surface device is powerful and handles all tasks well.

Average performance for this price. I’m a cs major student and want to use it for programming/school work. Can perform most tasks perfectly but there’re several flaws: 1. Small battery capacity. Middle lightness + best performance mode can only last for 3-4 hours, which means I usually need to bring a charger with me when I was at school. 2. Battery aged quickly. After 3 months use the battery aged a lot. Small laggy for typing/surfing when unplugged. When it plunged it there’ll be no lag. Not a big deal bc I usually charged it when using. 3. Touch screen is not very useful. I felt like if you really need this function you should definitely get an iPad. In conclusion, I will not recommend for this laptop if you’re looking for a laptop for schoolwork. For same price a latest MacBook Pro or a high performance gaming laptop will be a better option. I bought it Jan 2022 now I’m about to retire it :))

Hobbyist comic creator, previously had a Wacom intuos pro and a surface pro 7 and I can tell you that the SLS knocks both of them out of the water. This machine is for you if: 1. You are looking for a mobile machine that you can create on (Comics, Art, Videos etc) - CHECK! 2. You want to be able to game once in a while and don't want to have a separate gaming rig since you're not a hardcore gamer anyway - this definitely takes the cake, been playing scarlet nexus on this baby no issues 3. You want to consume media on it once in a while - Screen is great! 120hz really makes a difference and the sound quality is awesome! 4. Battery life is long! I've had this day-2 of its release and been using it as my daily driver for drawing, browsing, media consumption etc. and its been perfect for me! I so love this machine. That said, this isn't going to be for everyone, I can see the common complaints as 3050ti, too expensive etc etc etc., if you value the cons of the machine more than the pros of it, then you probably are better of buying something else, but if you've been eyeing this with a similar use-case as I have (above) and similar background (creator) then I can tell you now, if you have the budget - go for it! You won't regret it

this is a quality built product. i like how the venting goes out the side instead of the bottom I would recommend getting the 32MB ram with the 1TB hard drive

Bought this to replace my Surface Book 2. I got the 32GB RAM/1TB SSD configuration and it is awesome. I've edited a couple videos and it doesn't flinch. The display is great too. Connectivity is what it is. I purchased a dock separately to support dual 4k monitors and other devices. The Bluetooth works well for my mouse, keyboard, and headset. Best of all for me is the wireless card! My SB2 had a garbage wireless card with a very weak receiver (87-256Mb/s down). This laptop maxes all the time at 866Mb/s up and down which is huge for me transferring large files too and from cloud storage. I really have no complaints after two weeks of ownership and having done the research before purchasing.

Amazing Laptop! had some battery issues out of the box but using Microsoft support I was able get a new unit quickly.

Great product for someone who is creative. Provides options combining a laptop, tablet and Surface Studio option for more hands on. As a designer, going with the i7 - 32GB Memory - 1TB SSD Platinum, it is enough to work within the Adobe programs without any lag or glitching. Highly recommended because of the speed on start-up and while using the browser, applications and different features.

Excelent performance, size and battery. The mobility of the scree gives you and additional opción to work on it.
