    connection is easy. connector is compact. data transfer is clean and reliable. some off brand connectors sometimes have trouble. Esp. in dual screen mode. no issues so far with this connector.

    This allowed me to connect to my older second monitor at work as well as at a customer site. Connects right up with a standard VGA connection and plugs right into my mini display port on my surface no issues with resolution either

    You need this in order to hook up a second monitor to use with a Surface Dock. Makes the combo a bit pricey, but overall I am satisfied.

    This mini display adapter for the Microsoft Surface is the most reliable adapter. I used to have an off brand and it failed. Ever since I shifted to this microsoft branded adapter I have had absolutely no problems. After having lost the last one (my fault) I HAD to buy it again as it is excellent.

    I love my microsoft surface but I needed a second monitor to be more efficient. My option was to get a new monitor that’s compatible but I was advised by the Best Buy team to get the adapter and save $200. Works perfect and I’m able to use it with my docking station.

    Very simple to use. Just connect, plug and you’re ready to go. Don’t forget to change your computer setting to use two displays. A lot cheaper than buying a new screen.

    This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a Surface Pro 4 and a docking station, this adapter allowed me to hook up 2 monitors for a total display of 3 screens. Easy to connect, set-up and use.

    I find the surface is great for portability but when I have to do work in Excel, the screen is just too small. I Purchased this adapter to hook-up to a larger 25" monitor. Works great.
