It works good it has 3 pen tips one is the same as the original tip that comes with the pen second is the hard tip which is the triangle shape. It slides fast on the surface because it has less friction on screen. The third is little softer and it has more friction because it contains more rubber material I guess. It’s worth the discount price I paid and it feels good have extra tips in your position for emergency.

These stylus tips are decent. I bought them to replace the original tip and they do the job right.

Needed to replace my broken Surface pen tip. Saw this on clearance and bought 2!! I didn't notice much difference between original (HB-Black) and "B"-Blue. I noticed a smoother writing experience with the "2H"-Red tip. Professionals who draw a lot may notice more differences.

Between the kids and myself, we go through tips once every 6 months. Varying pressure and occasional drops of the pen to the floor may contribute to faster wearing out but get them while the still last!

If you actually use your Microsoft Surface Pen a lot, or all really, then I'd say this is worth picking up. Even if you don't really need it right now, I'd get it just in case. I don't see these being available forever. Especially once more people find out that they exist, lol. Heck, I never even found out that they did until over a year after I had already had a Microsoft Surface Pen myself. But as I said in the title, it really should have been included with the Microsoft Surface Pen. Not Cool Microsoft...
