Good computer, was light and traveled with me everywhere, large enough screen to where my eyes weren’t strained either.

I got this 2-in-1 to use for law school. I had never used a Surface product before, but I had many friends recommend it to me, so I decided to give it a go. Even though this one is not the most powerful out there, it is absolutely perfect for what I needed! The form factor is great and the huge screen real estate makes reading and editing documents a breeze. Also, being able to markup documents with the Surface Pen is amazingly easy. I can't recommend the Surface line enough!

Hi, I’ve had this tablet/computer since it came out in 2017. I loved it at first, I had no problems at all. Everything was smooth, but now that I’ve owned this computer for a year I’ve noticed a number of things wrong with them. I have already returned one surface pro that I bought from Best Buy, I had to return it to the surface pro store because it was a manufacture error. The problem was that the screen starting to get these almost like sunspots on it, green dots where the screen had stoppped working. So, I am now on my second surface pro. And guess what, not even one month in did I start to notice the sun spots again!! But bigger and in different areas. Keep in mind that this is a brand new surface pro! Not only have I had isssues with the screen but also the computer itself. Sometimes it will be on but will not let me use it, then I have to turn it off again and it will work. Slow operating times. I’m just a student, so really I don’t have that much going on on my computer. Oh yes, and now a section of my screen will not respond to my surface pro pen! Do not buy a surface pro.

There is a review somewhere in the world where I rated Surface Pro highly, like back when I first-first bought it. I was mistaken. It had to be wiped after a forced update busted it, and eventually it simply "expanded" and had to be placed in a bucket of dirt. Microsoft offers no refund/protection for this. I would have had to bring an exploding laptop home with me to report it properly. That should never have happened. It was $950 at the time. Such a huge investment lost. I do not support this product at all. It endangered my family, and Microsoft shows no sign it intends to protect people from this kind of thing, not even monetarily never mind literally.
