I have had many laptops over the years and find that the Microsoft Surface Pro fulfills everything I need a laptop to do. It boots up quickly since it has an ssd, uses facial recognition to reliably unlock the computer, and is very light. I have added the Microsoft pen which is a great way to interface with the computer and a docking station in case I want to use an external drive or other device. The keyboard works even better than I thought it would and it is nice to be able to detach it for tablet mode rather that continue to carry it as in other 2 in 1's. I had purchased a competitor's 2 in 1 for my wife, but she got frustrated by a malfunctioning fingerprint ID and liked the weight and detachable keyboard of the Surface Pro. So we returned the competitor model and we got her a Surface Pro. I like it a lot and expect it to continue to meet my needs for quite a few years.

It’s sleek slim and just perfect. The screen is a lot bigger on this one which I love. It’s like having the use of a computer in a tablet. You can use it with or without a keyboard. You can write & draw with the pen right on your screen. Awesome awesome tablet.

It is easy to use and reliable, I haven’t had any error or other disadvantages. Love it.

I've only had my Surface pro 12.3"-Intel Core M3 with deluxe key board for a short time but have found it to be very capable. This computer is very fast and can run smoothly with multiple tabs open at once. I am not a gamer or power user. I run Microsoft office applications, do casual browsing, family related video and photo editing, and some work related things and have found this computer to be more than capable. I recently purchased the Microsoft pen. The pen paired with the computer almost instantly and I was doodling within a minute or two. The pen is amazing thus far. I was able to use a 128 gb micro sd card to load on several applications, music, videos, to save space on the computer's hard drive. I found the applications working fine so far. Battery life is expanded quite a bit when computer is set on battery saving mode. I have found the battery saving mode does not affect the awesome display at all. The display still pops and is beautiful. I was considering a high end chrome book but settled on this machine instead because you can do so much more with it. I would not hesitate to purchase this computer again or to recommend to others who may be considering purchasing one. Did I mention the keyboard that comes with it is excellent as well.

I got the Surface Pro 6 M3 and it's just great. I don't think there is a better deal out there for $599. I just got a 128gb sd memory card to store files, so I can save space on the internal disk. It's fast for the everyday use, perfect size, lightweight... I love it! Don't let the specs fool you! If you are not going to use a lot of open apps at the same time, store a lot of stuff on the internal disk or high demand memory/processor/disk apps you don't need the most expensive models. 100% recommended!

I bought this to replace a 13" HP Laptop. There will be adjustments as there is only 1 usb port and no CD Rom drawer. II plan to buy a wifi mouse to leave that port open for other things. The tablet is very light and easy to disengage from the keyboard. And the keyboard is comfortable to use. The battery lasts a long time and the screen is great for watching movies. The speakers are pretty good, with headphones it's great. I'm not a techie person so can't speak to ROM, memory etc but do know you can add to the memory with a memory card if th a Pro doesn't come with enough for you.

Before buying a Surface I had an old Samsung Galaxy Tab S that was getting long in the tooth, performance wise. Was going to buy another Galaxy Tab (best screens in tablet category) but had a credit on Google Store and bought a Pixel Slate. Beautiful device buy the mix of Chrome OS and Android apps wasn't of my liking. I was looking Surface devices but found them way too expensive for my needs. Then tried a Lenovo Yoga which I loved but it was a 15.5" display and when I tried to used in tablet mode, it was ridiculous how huge it was. Finally, my local BB had this model on sale for $489 with the keyboard and couldn't pass buying a Surface anymore. If you are looking for a 2 in 1 this is the perfect size. Even with the keyboard attached , it can fit in my small handbag which frees me to be carrying something bigger and heavier. Don't get fooled by the M3 processor, everything is runnig smoothly with many programs running (mostly Office) and Chrome with many tabs open. I don't plan to play games or run video editing programs but I'm confident I can do that on a limited capacity. The display is beautiful, keyboard superb and the convenience to have a full Windows machine in such a small form factor is incredible. Finally, the option to put extra storage via sd card is the cherry on top and you will immediately have an extra hard drive. My only con would be the lack of USB Type C and I'm sure that in a couple of weeks Microsoft will feature that on the new models. If you don't need a graphic workstation this is the model to buy. Highly recommended.

So far this has exceeded my expectations, especially for the black friday price point. I was very worried about the m3 and almost returned it before opening for the i5 but i am glad i saved the 300 dollars. I havnt noticed any lag at all and its soo silent and light. The pro signature type keyboard is AMAZING. Could not be more pefect keyboard for this size device. I had looked at samsung galaxy tab 3 as i like samsung phones and tvs but the keybaord was tiny, cramped, and very cheap looking and feeling. So glad i didnt go that route and discovered this surface. Bought this to replace a far more expensive vaio laptop and this feels like an upgrade. Thanks best buy for the zero percent financing to top this deal off!

I have been using this Surface since May! I simply ... LOVE IT! The battery lasts a long time, easy to travel, easy to use, very responsive. Not being very computer literally, I bought an Apple Macbook Air, which I really like.. however, I cannot figure out how to use it well.. so, I got the surface for travel purposes! Wow!! Jackpot!... I fly often, and could not use my Apple on the tray table of my airplane seat, because the keyboard would not separate... The Surface does it well and easily. The surface also sinks with my bluetooth headset easily every time, AWESOME. I was able to download Kindle, and read my books on my Surface OFTEN.. YAY! Netflix, youtube and other media streamline without any problems! The video quality is amazing. I have NOT experienced a single problem yet, so have no negatives to say about the device. Wish I had bought the one Pro6 with I5 processor and more RAM, just in case. I am really satisfied, and highly recommend this to anyone who is not into heavy PC programming. This is an outstanding product. In my view, no competition for it ! However, the user needs to understand you get what you pay for! You will NOT be disappointed with this product. After 5 months on the road, my Apple stays home, even though it has a much better processor and overall configuration. The Surface NEVER leaves my traveling suitcase!!!

I only use this Surface Pro for basic things like web surfing, streaming videos and movies, online classes, and sometimes general word processing. This laptop has enough power to handle these tasks so I'm definitely glad I chose this one. I think the resolution of the screen is really good. Since I stream a lot of Youtube videos and movies, I wanted to get as close to 4k resolution as possible so settling at 2736 x 1824 was a good compromise for the price. The included detachable keyboard is nice also. There is plenty of space between keys and the mouse pad is a good size. The only thing that would make it better would be backlit keys. The stand is also pretty cool, as you are able to adjust your screen to just about any number of various angles. Additionally, I enjoy how light the laptop is which makes it easy to travel with. This laptop is a great option.

I was impressed with this tablet all the way around. Great screen and keyboard. Well set up to interact with your desktop and make life easier. Good battery life. Processor plenty fast. 4 gig of memory can slow things down, if you keep lots of stuff open. For the price, as good as you can get.

The Surface Pro is just an amazing device. Microsoft has done an amazing job at making a low end spec'd device, that performs like a high spec'd device. For basic office activities I never find myself running out of power. I did some light gaming on it as well, to test it out, and it runs just fine. The battery life is amazing. I can go all day without having to juice up. My one and only complaint is that they only give you (1) USB port. However, there is an easy and cheap fix to that. A simple multi USB extender solved that issue. The keyboard is just the best keyboard I have ever used. The whole keyboard is back-lit. And the material they use is smooth.

I bought the Surface Pro mainly based on price. I was all set to go with the smaller Surface Go, but, when I saw the bundle with the keyboard for about $600, I had to get it. The device is solid. Feels like a premium device, good weight, though it is not light. Speedy, overall. The bundled keyboard cover is amazing. Light, feels good and has looks great. I bought a third party pen to use with the pro. All in all, a great device. Battery life appears to be better than what many critics have said, though, your mileage may vary.

After several weeks of Android tablet nonsense I came across this Surface Pro 5 bundle. From its sleek design to its excellent build quality, you cannot go wrong. The Core M3 is by no means a power house as it’s not meant to be. It’s a fine balance of performance, portability and battery life. If you want all day battery with great productivity capabilities, look no further. * Bonus - Install Boom 3D trial from the Microsoft Store. This little gem makes the already fantastic sounding speakers sound phenomenal that will easily fill your room with vibrant surround sound! I was hooked immediately and purchased full version! *** Warning Windows 10 ver 1903 ( May 2019 Update ) will reserve 7GB of precious SSD space. Stick with current version if storage is a concern for you.

Got this for my wife to do post shoot processing In Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. She has only had it for a few days and can’t put it down. The pixel sense display is super accurate. Don’t be discouraged by the 4gb of ram or the M3 processor. Unless you are trying to run Photoshop and Lightroom or ten other apps at the same time, you won’t have an issue. Supper smoooth and reactive. Absolutely love it.

I had this for more than 2 weeks now and I am glad to purchase this one. I had several laptops before and I always felt that they are heavy when I go out of country. This is perfect for size and weight. Speed is great and haven't had any problem so far.

I purchased this to replace my other school laptop. My old laptop was way too heavy. This one is very light and very portable. I am mainly using this for streaming videos and writing essays. I highly recommend this as an option for your next purchase. The only downside to this would be the RAM. You need to make sure you're not constantly leaving too many tabs open or else you'll see some performance issues.

My husband and I share this Surface. We keep it in our living room since our laptops and desktops are in our office. When we need to surf the web, watch a quick video or look something up, the Surface Pro is right there. The keyboard is also a nice feature that we are glad we didn’t have to pay extra for it (it came with the Surface). The screen is very responsive. The only thing we did not like is that the screen is glossy, but we just picked up a matte screen protector and voila! Looks great. My husband also chose this particular one because he wanted something portable and touch screen to read his electronic comic books. Now it seems he likes to be on this one instead of his laptop more.. but that’s okay! Over all, we are very pleased with the purchase. We are thinking of getting the pen as well since I like to write a lot. I would recommend this as a portable laptop/tablet for those who need a windows version!

Owned for a month and so far extremely pleased. Purchased to replace my failing three year old tablet so the m3 processor was all I needed. Fast start, great performance, long battery, super keyboard. Rarely use my 15" core i5 laptop since purchasing this Surface pro.
