Very disappointing that the black paint started to chip a week after I purchased, unacceptable for this price point. The power cord is short and only being able to charge on one side limits functionality. Surfing the internet usually takes up 30%-40% RAM no matter what you do! So expect to always be running at about 60% of your 8GB memory. For the most part I haven't had any issues and the devices performs really well. It only has gotten hot once while doing a system refresh. The device is really beautiful, Very responsive, fast, and lightweight. Not sure if its worth the money at its current price point sense the only thing that has changed is the fact they added a year old processor and turned it black. Easily a 4 or 5 star device if the paint did not chip so easily. If anything changes after a few more months of use, I will update my post.

I bought this for grad school after reading many reviews - I already had a great laptop, but the specs were older. I felt I couldn’t justify buying another laptop just to get slightly newer specs, so I opted for the Surface for the additional capabilities that can hopefully be used by the whole family. I love the surface pen and the ability to draw and take notes on the Surface Pro. I find myself wanting to use it primarily as a laptop, so I miss the fact that the screen isn’t hinged to the keyboard, and I must have it on a flat surface like a table or lap desk in order to use it as a laptop. I love that it’s so thin that it easily slips into my zippered portfolio as shown in photo. I also appreciate that skins are so easily available, and I can customize and protect my investment. Overall, it’s incredibly portable and versatile, and I’m looking forward to using it to its maximum potential.

Just getting a chance to learn this new tablet. The size is perfect as well as the weight. This will be used more mobility due to the fact that it weighs less that 1.5 pounds. The touch screen is very responsive to the touch. The clarity is so much better that what I was using. Happy that I was able to get on sale.

Love the compact and weight of the Surface Pro 6 it's replaced my well loved standard laptop. I've followed the Microsoft Surface since it initially came out and with all these upgrades I just had to have it ~ best reward I treated myself to :) only wish it came with 1yr at least of the MicroSoft programs

Small, powerful and light. easy to carry and perform both school work as well as business work. lots of capabilities with this computer. Expensive but excellent computer

I love my Surface pro 6. I purchased it for work and i use it every day. Its super portable and is always ready. it has good battery life and is very powerful for what i need it to do! i would tell anyone to purchase one if they had a need for it. Actually even if you don't have a need you should get one! it is much better then an iPad because it actually works like a real computer! and that is coming from an avid apple user.

We were in the market for a laptop that we could take with us on the go. We were drawn to the tablet due to the design and size. The tablet feels like a laptop with the type cover on it. We are very pleased with the speed and accessibility. This tablet has allowed us to change the way we do business while traveling.

I was looking to buy a Surface Pro for a while and this one really suits my budget great price great size and definitely nice and fast it suits up right as soon as you open it up really comfortable to use and easy to learn

I absolutely love this Surface pro! It is easy to set up, a perfect size that is not too big but not too small. Great battery. Easy to use as a laptop on a table and easy to use as a tablet!

This piece of equipment is so light weight and easily to use and take anywhere. I love it’s simple design and versatility. I highly recommend it.

I bought this laptop for my teenager for use at his school, which is a Microsoft Showcase school and all the kids use Surfaces. This tablet/laptop is blazing fast and so dynamically useful. The system is well designed and solidly built, he commutes a long way every day with it and it it just keeps working with no hiccups. We had to return his prior Surface Pro for warranty work, which BestBuy honored well with a quick solution. This is definitely an item to buy the warranty on, and even better, BestBuy stands behind it.

The laptop is fast, easy to use and there is no fan sound at all. Overall the best advantage is the battery life and there is no lag at all.

This was purchased for my brother who makes music. he was previously using a powerful but bulky laptop. he wanted to be able to edit his music throughout the house not just the studio. The Surface was perfect for this as its very lightweight. On top of that it handled all his softwares without issue. it boots quickly and uses facial recognition to unlock so all you have to do is press the unlock button and it will open up when it sees you. the biggest down side is the fact that there is only one usb and a mini hdmi port which will leave most needing adapters. There are plenty of adapters for additional usb ports we found a very thin one that added five additional slots it had a swivel and hung on the side of the surface with ease. these issues are obviously due to the surface being so thin and powerful. A sacrifice we gladly made. For a time i was using the surface for graphic designing it does fine but its not as good as my dedicated drawing tablet attached to my desktop. i'd suggest getting a specialized drawing tablet for that. ultimately its an amazing piece of technology aside from its touch features its far superior to an ipad pro due to it running actual desktop programs and not mobile versions of said programs. After a year of use it has not run into any issues.

Loving my Surface 6. I am replacing an older Dell Laptop, and this thing rocks. It's fast and responsive, has amazing sound just from the system speakers, and seems to hold a charge really well. Great Wi-fi reception and is able to reach my Bluetooth headphones at an impressive distance. Comes with the keyboard cover and pen, which is a great bundle. I'm only just now exploring all its capability, but I think it's going to be a great fit more my mobile business needs!

Although quite pricey I am glad I purchased the Surface Pro 6. Push the power button and you're pretty much ready to go! It is lightning fast and so far I have found it does anything a laptop can do. One of my biggest reasons I chose the Surface Pro is because of the USB port. Being that all my business is done while traveling this is a convenient feature for using with an external drive etc. The product is light and convenient. Love it!

I have had three generations of the surface. Super fast, light weight, and great for travel.

On Feb. 6th, 2019 I purchased the Surface Pro 6 with keyboard and pen. I also used the MyBestBuy Rewards Charge Card and got 0% financing for 12 months. The product is as powerful as owning a desktop computer with blazing speed. Turning it on is instant boot. Battery life is awesome, it is extremely energy efficient when I think of using video sites such as YT. Would recommend to friends.

This Surface book with Intel's 8th generation processor flys thru tasks I threw at it. Office works great, and the games I played on it work well. While this is great for what I do with it, if you want to play battlefield or any of the other gamer games, I don't recommend this.. This is portable and has great battery life, but it's not for gaming

The surface pro 6 is probably one of the most outstanding small laptops I've enjoyed! The fact that I can draw on it is a bonus! It's fast- i7 version, the screen is outstanding, it's portable and the battery life is fantastic! I look forward to taking this on my trips so I can do my graphic art while I'm away from home!

This in my opinion is the best computer/tablet combo. Very ideal for traveling. Light weight and amazing new look with the black model. No complaints at all. Pen works perfectly, not sure but I hope it has a mic. Would be a plus if pen and keyboard were included. Either way not as pricey as competitors so no problem.
