The Surface keyboards are all great and this is not an exception. The pen is convenient to hold and use. It magnetically attaches to the right side of the Surface Pro X, if you have to take the pen and leave the keyboard behind.

Bought a used product so there are definite signs of wear-and-tear but overall works wonderfully. Yes, you can buy bluetooth enabled keyboards but it will not work as seamlessly as the surface pro keyboard. For one, the trackpad on this is stellar and you can customize the scrolling direction unlike bluetooth keyboards. Only reason i'm knocking 1 star off is because Best Buy's used listing had this as a "bundle" meaning it came with the Pen. Only until driving 15 miles to pickup did they inform me that wasn't the case. I've double-checked, nothing on the online listing says otherwise. CS also missing a bit of some empathy on this as they casually just told me to return it so I can get my money back.

I love the new surface and the keyboard/pen combo. The keyboard feels very much like a traditional keyboard. Having the pen handy and charged is also very helpful. No extra chargers or cables to worry about.

Highly recommend to use with surface X, easy to connect and easy to use, looks great when connected to your surface X, nice sleek design, perfect combination

If you have the Surface Pro you have to have the keyboard. They work awesome together and make a small compact laptop that is great in the field or in the office.

It depends if you like having a keyboard.for me I do like having it!it comes with a pen very nice to have.

A great addition to yoir Surface Pro is you dony want to or have a hard time using the digital keyboard on the screen. Using this will help someone that needs to actually feel what they are typing and also by freeing up screen use so you can see wjatever you need to better without the digital keyboard in the way. Also this model comes eith the stylist pen which is great if you need to have a "pen" to complete tasks. Overall a great product but a bit on the steep side for a keyboard and stylist. Enjoy!

super slim and light weight. nice feel to the key pad and keys. cool that the pen has a little compartment to put it in.

A necessity for the MS Surface. Great cover/keyboard. So light yet hardy and portable. Love my surface devices

Perfect design, improves on the already great surface keyboard. A tad bit pricey but with the included stylus I guess it’s worth it.

The keyboard was very premium and nice to the touch. It was pretty wobbly when using it on my lap. The mouse pad is nice. I loved the shorcut features at the top row. The built wireless housing for the pen was nice. It charges your pen. Only problem, I could not use the tap or push features on the pen. the carpenter pen was awkward to use as it was not a traditional pen style. I like where Microsoft head is at with this keyboard design. They outpace Apple here. I returned it as I returned the surface pro x.

I love have the keyboard separate from the screen and I love the fact that the pen charges in the cradle.

I really like this keyboard. I enjoy the thickness of the keys. They are easy to type with.

There is a reason why MS is now going to these on all the new Pro lines. Great keyboard and pen combo. Buttons are nice like all of MS's keyboards. I returned because I wanted the poppy red combo but loved. It is sturdier then people say if you dont just totally bash your keys when typing. They should come with laptops but oh well...

I really, really like the feel of this keyboard. It's super comfortable in its feel and click pressure and sound. And, the magnet works quite well in holding the keyboard to the tablet. The price is a little high, and in hindsight, I would just have purchased the true Surface laptop with attached keyboard for the same price, unless you want a tablet for some reason.

Love this keyboard better than the standard without the pen. Pen works great too.
