The Microsoft Surface Slim Pen (2nd Edition) and Pro Keyboard are outstanding upgrades for the Surface Pro series. The Slim Pen offers precise and responsive writing, perfect for note-taking and digital art. The Pro Keyboard enhances typing comfort with well-spaced keys and a responsive trackpad, transforming your tablet into a highly productive workstation. Both accessories sport a sleek Platinum finish, adding elegance to functionality. Ideal for both professional and personal use, I highly recommend these for any Surface Pro owner looking to boost their device’s capabilities.

While I love the design and how effortlessly this keyboard incorporates with the Surface Pro, I went through three of these with defects and finally had to upgrade to the Flex keyboard. For the price, I expected much better quality from Microsoft.
The first had a defective hinge that creaked each time you closed it against the surface. The second had a loose backspace key that rattled as you typed. The third and final had a defective “I” key that crackled and stuck when you pressed it. Best Buy graciously accepted all of these back, but it was a huge headache for a keyboard at a $200+ price point. I can say the first Flex keyboard felt noticeably better quality with an upgraded touchpad and wireless capability, but it’s too expensive in my opinion for what you get.

There is nothing different about this keyboard vs. older variations except the CoPilot key. Granted, the Surface Pro Keyboards and pens have always been great, so that isn't a problem. The CoPilot key is useful, but can be remapped via Power Tools to any app or website. That is actually quite a good addition.

The keyboard works as expected, has nice textile input, and the cutout for the pen is a game changer; however, it is definitely overpriced. I like that it covers the screen and I don’t have to worry about the pen falling off the side like my previous setup. The only downside besides the obnoxious price is the pen is difficult to remove from the hidey hole.

Prefect and must tool for Surface Pro.
Very elifent design and sharp tip which make it very accurate for clicking. It’s worth the investment and very helpful at times.

It is great to have the keyboard. The only thing I wish it would do is work independently from the laptop. It will only work while attached to the laptop. It is not wireless.

Works great. Easy to setup and attach to the Surface. Durability has been fine. Keys have worn out on one unit I have had so far from heavy use. Second unit has help up fine and has been a better keyboard than the previous unit. Pen works well every time. Easy to setup and use.

It is okay, keyboard feels cheap, I understand wanting light weight but it could’ve been made nicer and more stable. Trackpad clicks sound cheap as well.
