Hard to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard looks cheap. The keyboard is so sensitive that you cannot even rest your hands on the keys.

Hit or Miss
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is hit or miss. Sometimes is works great and other times it doesn't work at all. They mouse pad on the Keyboard will work, but none of of keys will. Constantly having to unsnap the keyboard and re-attach it. Other than that, when the product works, it works great.

Don't buy this finicky Touch Cover over Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been touch typing since elementary school and this touch cover was extremely hard to type on. The keys were finicky as well, went in and replaced it with a regular keyboard built for Surface2. If you want to relearn how to touch type, get this product.

Keyboard
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The keyboard looks amazing, feels amazing, and even lights up amazingly but unfortunately when it comes down to using it the keys make it a little uncomfortable to use.

disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed in the touch response of the keyboard. Some keys respond well, but other keys require significant pressure to respond

Decent Keyboard but not for Touch Typist
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was desperate to get a keyboard before I was heading out for a trip and they ran out of the Type Cover 2 for my Surface Pro 2. The only one they had available is the Touch Cover 2 as I've been looking for a backlit keyboard for the surface. As far as functionality goes, this keyboard is very good for those who don't type a lot. But if you're a touch typist, this keyboard can become frustrating when typing. As I'm writing this review, I'm typing on it but there have been a few times already that I've backspaced because it didn't register the keys because I typed too fast. It does give a tactile sound from the speakers which makes it really nice to hear but it isn't the same from the actual type cover keyboard. If you're the type who types a lot and throughout the day, this keyboard isn't for you and should get the type cover 2. I will be returning and exchanging it with the type cover 2 since they now have one available.

Great Accessory
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose the touch cover 2 over the type cover because I wanted something thin and light for travelling as well as something I could easily clean. It does take a little time and practice to get used to, but I found slowing down my typing speed has made a big difference. The price is a bit steep, but it is a well built accessory and the magnetic connector seems very firm and holds tight. Zero lag.

The Type is the Way to go
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The touch is a somewhat frustrating keyboard because it's not quite as touch sensitive as you would like it to be. I would recommend buying the Type if you'd actually like to get things done.

Great Keyboard for my Surface Pro 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I bought my Surface Pro 2 last Friday (25 Oct 13) I knew I wanted one of the typing covers. I tried both in the store and liked the feel of the "real" keys on this cover. When I took the tablet and keyboard home and started setting it up, I used the keyboard a lot. I don't like tablets that don't have a well integrated keyboard, or require only an onscreen keyboard, so this was a GREAT buy! Where it is not a full/normal key board, it certainly provides the tactile feel of one when typing. For such a thin cover, to have these kinds of keys as well as a pretty good track pad, it really makes working on the Surface Pro 2 almost the same as a full Laptop. If you purchase the Surface Pro 2 I fully recommend this cover over the other option.

makes it easy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this keyboard makes the Surface so easy to use. touch screen is great but having a keyboard makes it much easier when there is a lot to enter

Works but really not worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mean $120 buck for this thing? It shows wear and tear very quickly. The dirt from any and everything sticks to it. Really gives a dull feeling to typing. Easy to make mistakes on really need to give it a lot of time to get the muscle memory down. Even then I still find myself finger pecking to avoid mistakes. It does work as it should and it gives you all the function you need very mobile. I just think it you are much better off spending $15 more and getting the type style.

buggy; touchpad unresponsive
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1. Tap-and-drag, a pretty fundamental touchpad gesture, is nonexistent. People have been complaining to Microsoft about this for MONTHS, basically since the Type Cover 2 came out, and yet it was not addressed in the most recent update. No one-handed selection or dragging. NOT OK. Am I seriously going to have to go out and buy a MOUSE? 2. The touchpad "buttons", such as they are, are very, very nonresponsive. This is a much bigger deal than it needs to be because of #1 above. This is also something people are complaining about online and Microsoft needs to take notice. 3. Why is the touchpad surface FURRY? Who thought that was a good idea?
