The software's access/installation code is supposed to get printed on the receipt. However, the system will not do that until some non-essential personal information (one's address if I remember correctly) is provided to the process. If one were simply purchasing a disk off the shelf, that would not be necessary. The requirement is invasive!! This review process is just as bad - it is requiring me to supply a nickname!

As soon as I entered Windows 10 Pro serial numbers to upgrade from Home edition, I got windows 10 Pro with no hassle! Great! The question now, If I formatted my HD to re-install fresh windows 10, do I get Windows 10 Home or I'll get Windows 10 Pro? Next time I can answer this!

If you haven't upgraded your Widows 10 from Home to Pro you cannot encrypt your hard drive or any other drives you have installed in your system. I did this to my system and was very happy I did so. Somebody on Facebook tried to tap into my hard drive was not able to do so.

Bitlocker feature is a must have. No issue in the activation. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Even though upgrade key is emailed, if your buying in person suggest you get a printed receipt from BB cashier since the upgrade key is also printed in the receipt.

Pro is good if you are looking for other features the home does not have. When I entered the 25 digit code, and after resetting, it said it was not legit, BUT after entering it again it worked.

I was a little upset that Best buy sold only laptops with Windows 10 home edition. But the $99 discount made the upgrade very affordable. It is easy to do you just enter the code from the activate app.

If you need to run Remote Desktop or a virtual machine on your computer, I recommend getting Windows 10 Pro. If you already have Windows 10 Home, you can get the Pro by buying an upgrade (downloadable) for $99.

I purchased this as an upgrade to windows 10 Home that came on my new Microsoft surface pro 7. I primarily wanted the increased security features, especially on a mobile device like this, and remote desktop capability.

Was just what I needed after downloading a trial version of Windows 10 Pro to get the full license at a great price. Was best price anywhere at the time.

Works well on Mac, works more efficient if purchased parallel. Parallel makes it easier to jump back and forth between soft ware and some folks have issues opening Mac Document .

I upgraded an older Lenovo Flex5 with more memory, an SSD and more memory. Then I applied the Win10 Pro upgrade to the W10 Home and it worked perfectly.

Why must I submit a minimum of 50 characters to get my 25 point Best Buy credit. Looks like an inducement to me. Still, I wanted Pro, I paid for Pro. I got Pro.

i used to update an office computer with windows 7. I didnt do much to install it. It came kn USB drive instead of download it from website

It's Windows 10 Pro, what else is there to say? If you have a PC you need Windows. If you have a business, you probably need Pro.
