I choose Windows 8.1 PRO OS for my computer build. I enjoy the customizable Tiled desktop and I also toggle back to the older Windows 7 looking desktop when I need to.

Windows 8 is a very user friendly operating system, it's easy to navagate through diffrent applications and webpages as well. There is added security to windows defender, WIth windows compatibility adding older programs is a snap. It has a very tasteful new Metro screen to replace the start menu. All around great software.

The Windows operating system works flawlessly on my Mac. Parallels is a must, and makes the MacBook Pro the best for OSX and Windows operating systems.

The new Windows software is intuitive and easy to use. No problems with installation. Slight learning curve to use it effectively. Like anything else really. Works great with touch enabled computers.

I really like 8.1 Pro. It has all the features Win 7 has plus a few ehancements to make the OS even more user friendly.

Took me years to switch over to Windows 8, but I love it. Great features, great changes...my family loves it too.

works fine with start button download, and switch to desktop instead of tiles. Tiles are great for tablets and phones, not desktops

We like windows 7 better windows 8.1. We needed a new OS. Did not want to wait for Windows 10.

i'd been holding out, using Windows 7 ultimate......but Iswitched to 8.1 pro and glad I did

Needed the windows 8 pro for the amount of memory on my new system build (>16gb).

Easy job well done except I lost Microsoft office products which I had to reload

Not the biggest fan of Windows 8. I come from an IT background of Windows 7 Pro for work and Mac OS X for personal/schooling/previous employment. Just takes a while to get used to.

This is a great operating system and i really enjoy the new features.

Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit o/s works well in my home office.

Windows 8 is faster and more efficient than Windows 7

I needed windows to run with parallels on my Mac. This was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't purchase it with any other expectations than that.

Workable program Easy to use for a non computer person Fast enough

Windows 8.1 would be awesome if it wasn't for the apps. Apps are nice for a phone, but not a desktop/laptop. And for some reason I keep having to use task manager to fully end the apps even after closing them out. All's well that ends well, good-bye user friendliness.

Had to update computer programs to run this program,which caused interfacing problems with multiple other programs I have- even my printer. The program itself doesn't seem to want to respond to my traditional editing language .Its vocabulary seems to use what it thinks is a simpler language-frustrating to make it learn my vocabulary. BUT concept is great!!!

like it just wish it came with office on it. you would think that would come with windows pro
