Although the instructions for installation are vague once the installation begins the process is smooth and clear and I am glad with the product.

User interface needs more work and need to be intuitive, it seems that This is a good interface for tablets.

I primarily use this in a Parallels desktop on my Macbook for running IE to do cross browser testing, and to run the windows version of Excel (the mac version is lacking some of the features). No complaints for what I use it for

I have been using windows 8 it takes a little bit to get used to it but once you do it's really nice.

I did have major problems transferring my e-mail from Vista to Windows 8.1. The Mail application did not work, so I kept my e-mail with Microsoft Outlook.

Microsoft's best operating to date surpasses Windows 7

There was such a change in the way programs were accessed that it was doubtful that the family would change over more that one (1) computer to Windows 8.1. After a month, the entire family is requesting an upgrade for their systems too. Hmmm... finally found a Christmas present or two without really trying!

It is different and will take some time to get used to it

I had the Geek Squad install (Loli Obermeit) and she did a fantastic install. She took time to explain ---in English for the not computer geek, the essentials and made suggestions for new wireless adopter. This why my learning curve was shortened for this old guy. Thank you again Gene

This installation was very easy and quick. Would recommend

This product is quite awesome. The graphics are visuals of Windows 8 are stunning and pleasant to look at. I would say it's quite a step up from its predecessor went to seven. I look forward to see what updates come in the future

had to upgrade from xp taking time to get used to lay out and features for windows 8

Softwware is pretty much as expected. Installed as normal for windows. This version of Windows is licensed like the old was - unlike OEM versions it is not registered to a specific motherboard.
