I cannot stand the monthly subscriptions that everything is going to. I use my Xbox to play a limited number of games that I buy and have no need to have access to some library of games that I will never play. This card allows me a year of access without having to provide payment information to MS and no additional subscription to keep track of.

Xbox Game Pass Essential is perfect for online multiplayer and casual gaming. The game selection is solid, the price is reasonable, and the Best Buy digital code was delivered instantly and easy to redeem. Definitely worth it if you want the basics without paying for Ultimate.
