What I will advise is that you stock up on Xbox Live Gold if you haven't, you can have up to 36 months of Gold added to your account before using this product and it'll kick it up to that point, 36 months is the max, so it would be more wise to have a max of 33 months. Negative reviews here are from bitter people who thought they could double dip, the photo clearly states "SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER" The OP word being Introductory here. Xbox Live is one thing. Game Pass is another thing, This is a new offer for new accounts that are gaining "Ultimate Game Pass". So if you have taken advantage of any promotion or are already subscribed to Ultimate Game Pass already then don't buy this. I just think it's ridiculous the low ratings this has received because people are unable to read. Great buy!

Unfortunately, this special introductory offer to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is only valid for customers who do not already have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription and is limited to one redemption per Microsoft Account per year. The good news is that you can hold onto your extra codes and redeem one in a year and the second the following year to extend your membership.

I did not use the $1 promotion like other reviewers here did. The code, for some reason, gave me Ultimate for the same amount of time. I am not sure why I was given Ultimate for such a long time. I feel like something screwy is going on with how Microsoft calculates how much to add to your account if you already have (in my case) 2.5 years left on my other memberships. I attached a pic of my current membership being active until Jan 2022, and for only $20 extra!

I used the $1 dollar transfer, and also bought this. I can't say why others have had problems, but I didn't. When you read the description, it says you can use one of these once a year.

Didn't Work on Subscription Through June 2022
