My son loves playing online and it cheaper than paying for it monthly.

This 3 month card came free with the Xbox One X as a bundle along with a gift card. At $14.99 for 3 months, I would have paid for it due to the Xbox live access, monthly free games and discounts. Since horde mode within Gears 5 is only playable online, these Live subscriptions are absolutely required.

These 3-month XBox Live cards consistently go on sale every Black Friday and I make it a point to buy at least 4 in order to cover a full year's worth of XBox Live subscription at a discounted rate. I typically save about $40 when I buy 4 of these cards during the Black Friday sales.

In order to get the fullest experience out of your Xbox you must add the Xbox Live subscription. $60 to play online is pretty worthwhile, however the additional games you get monthly with your subscription, while most of them are kind of throwaways, there are some great games that add to the value of the subscription.

No, really. I had no idea this was a mandatory product to play online, but it is. So why not get the full 12 months at a discount? The Best Buy staffer who helped me with my Xbox purchase recommended this over just the free 3 months that the bundle comes with. I'm glad he did since it still saves me money overall.

A must have for online multilayer and at a great deal too!

It's a subscription, nothing fancy about it. However I do prefer these shorter terms subs because I don't play on Xbox very often so instead of buying annual membership where about 6 months of it won't even be used, I rather have these when they go on sale at 50% off and use them when I have the need to use.

The Harriman NY store definitely did right by me. I had ordered the 3 month Gold XBox Live for I think it was $10(cyber Monday deal). Max was 3 of them. I ordered the 3(9 months total). They apparently oversold them so they gave me a 12 month membership for the same $30 I paid for the 3 3 month memberships.

My daughter loves that she can play online with her friends and that she is given special access to certain games and programs with her subscription. It allows her to sample games before committing to buying the game. Wish it was a little less expensive and that they offered it for longer than 3 month increments.

The yearly Xbox card was a great gift! My daughter loved it. I like that I only have to pay once a year instead of monthly.

...to own an xbox one. I'm not a fan of some of the interfaces for XBOX Live, but having played both the PS4 and XOne extensively, there can be no doubt that xbox live is a much more stable platform. I enjoy the interface of the PS4 much more than xbox one, but the quality of online play for Microsoft is unmatched.

Xbox Live is an absolute necessity if you want to paly online against anyone. These digital codes are a nice way to send someone the gift of Xbox Live without adding to the plastic pollution of the landfill with a traditional gift card.

If you purchase the XBOX ONE gaming system for yourself or as a gift, you have to purchase the Gold membership as well. Without it you will be locked out of the full potential of your system to include online gaming, downloads, and majority of the desired systems. The 12 month card is the best purchase for the money.
