This is a must-have for any Xbox one user for the simple fact of online play. If you want to save a couple dollars by the one year it's a much better deal.

I picked a few of these up at $10 a piece. At that price, they beat an annual subscription. 3 months is more flexible than 12.

You can usually find good deals on Xbox Live subscription cards (never pay full retail), but getting 3 months free with my Xbox One X purchase was a win/win. You can't go wrong with Xbox Live. If you're curious about redeeming online, Google "Xbox Redeem code" and follow those instructions. Make sure you're logged in of course, but it's super easy, and a lot quicker than entering it in via the dash on the XB1 itself with a controller.
