I love this 12 month subscription because it gives me along time of playing before I have to purchase another one. It also saves money than to keep buying the shorter period subscriptions. I love online gaming best thing ever to be created.

One year of Xbox live gold is a huge money saver compared to paying monthly. Plus live gold comes with one or two FREE games every month - which cuts down on my nine year old begging me for new games constantly!

I give it 5 stars because my son loves it - apparently it is required to play a bunch of different games and against his friends. Why anyone wouldn't buy the year subscription is beyond me. I think $59.99 for a year - $24.99 for only 3 months. Even my little guy quickly did the math and said the same thing. Plus, you get access to games free.

I brought this for my grandson because of the extra games he can receive twice a month, but am having trouble setting it up. I will keep trying. I think it is a server problem, as microsoft has been very good about helping me. Next stop if ATT can't help is the Geek Squad!!

Gives you the ability to download 2 free games selected by Microsoft each month. That's 24 games a year for 49.99, not to mention this subscription is required to play most games. This is also a better value than buying 3 months at a time.

Can't live without this, the kids are always wanting to play games online. Without this there would be no way they could do so or rest for me. Best bang for your bucks, don't waste time buying the 3 month membership.

This was purchased for my grandson. It just makes everything better to have a gold membership. Free games every month. Access to all online gaming. I have always thought it was well worth the money to enhance the overall experience on the xbox 360 or xbox one. Game on.

Well what can I say you have to have this to play online and get free games it's not bad of the price for the whole year.

Xbox Live Gold is golden and indeed quite lively. You may need a quarter to scratch off the silvery, likely toxic material to reveal the code. If you spent all of your money on this membership and don't have a quarter, a penny should work. Those can always be found on the floor of gas station restrooms. If you're a high roller like me, scan the bar code using the Kinect camera, because I'm cash poor with credit card debt and fearful of gas station restrooms. Enjoy Xbox Live!

Xbox live is a great service. Lots you can do and with free games every month, xbox live on XBOX one is great. You can stream movies, watch netflix. I Just wish that it did not cost so much per year and that Xbox one had a keypad like the xbox 360 has.

If your best buy guy didn't get you this when you bought your console then he needs to be fired. This service pays for itself with the free games that come every month... not cheezy games... great games! I got Tell Tales games titles, the first Lara Croft game, and we get new ones to choose from each month. Plus, this service is required for most of the online content in other major titles like Destiny and Elder Scrolls Online.

Xbox live is an essential part of current-gen and next-gen gaming. Having Xbox live gold status opens up a world of extra content and it also greatly extends the replay value of ones games. Xbox also offers games with gold which gives users access to a plethora of games for free during the time of their membership. When you add that in along with discounts on digital content as well, it's a no brainer!!

For the price XBOX Live Gold is nice, because you get 1 free game a month to download!
