The card arrived, the code worked, gaming goes on. Life is good.

My rationale for purchasing digital Xbox Live points through Best Buy rather than directly through the Xbox Live Marketplace is that the price is the same, but you'll get a slight boost towards your next Rewards Zone certificate if you buy from BB. Four times I've purchased this item from this site, and three of them went smoothly. The one exception was when I waited for several hours without receiving my email, despite the assurance that my code should arrive within 15 minutes after placing the order. I contacted customer service twice, and both times they were completely unhelpful (the first representative told me to call back within an hour or two if the email had not arrived by then; the second representative asked why I was even calling when there was nothing they could do). After waiting for about 5 to 6 hours and getting nowhere, I decided to cancel my order and just purchase the points directly from Xbox Live. Fortunately the cancellation process went smoothly, since Best Buy had not yet charged my credit card for the order. The approximate wait time with the other three orders ranged from 10 to 25 minutes, so a failure on BB's part does not seem to be the norm with this product. Just know that this is hardly the most reliable or efficient manner available for purchasing Xbox Live points.

Microsoft points are quite useful for online gaming. The points let you buy downloadable content for your video games. Keep in mind the points go by quick. Usually with new title games you about two downloads with all 1600 Microsoft points. I wish Microsoft would lower the points value of the DLC for games so you get more bang for your buck. I just wish the map packs for example were free since we as the gamers spend $60 for a new title game and have to add on another $20 to the game.

Not sure what issue the other person was having. I placed the order and received my confirmation email and code within 15 minutes. This is a great product and I had no issues with receiving the code.

This worked just fine. 10 min is the average wait I'm guessing. Fast way to get msp if you have a Best Buy gift card and don't have one in your town.

I got my points in ten minutes and reeemed them perfectly. Now onto download Mass Effect 2 DLC and get ready to save the universe next month...

This is a great way of getting points. Takes about an hour or 2 to end up in a email but worth the wait. This is a must for people not wanting to use a cc or paypal on a xbox account.

Fast Fast and Fast. 10 minutes is all it took me to receive my points. Make sure to double and triple check the e-mail you are sending the points to. Most Definitely would buy again.

I was worried about buying this after reading the negative review from another user. But I decided to give it a try anyway. 20 minutes later, the code arrived in my e-mail inbox. So it worked fine for me!

This is the second time I tried to buy Xbox Live downloadable content from Best Buy. The first time I never received anything and after speaking to customer service they finally gave me a $20 gift card because they couldn't refund my money. This time I bought 4 of these 1,600 points products, and once again, they took my money and didn't send me anything. That was 2 months ago, and I'm still trying to either get the points or the money back. Basically customer service has no visibility into the delivery system or the codes you purchased, so if there is some sort of delivery issue (like with mine) you are out of luck. I already tried to get my money back but the account department said they don't refund downloadable content purchases and he even said he didn't believe me, and sent me back to the gaming support department to get it resolved, where I've been in limbo for 2 months. They are unable to confirm whether you received the email, so they have to assume you have, and there is no way to re-send the codes, or change the email address they sent the codes to, and they don't refund downloadable content, and have no visibility into the codes or the delivery system! So if there is some kind of glitch, you can kiss your money goodbye. Horrible system, horrible service.

I have ordered this twice; the first time I received the code in less than ten minutes, the second time it took around twenty minutes. The points are easy to redeem and used for hours of endless fun!

I ordered points via email and best buy says its takes 24 hours to get the code REALLY i will never buy another code from this company.
