Good for live content. Wish they were cheaper. Better than buying more than one card over and over.

Needed points for my Xbox and best buy had them!!!

It's always good to save some money on a gift for someone!

You pay for the system, you pay for live, you buy the game, then when you want anything extra you might want you need some points. Try to get it on sale. if you can't tell I'm cheap.

Need to add Xbox live points and this'd way get reward point too. Same price as most other places, but get reward point.

I ordered this card on 1/11, it shipped 1/14, received 1/22, and it will not activate. I called the Best Buy Activation # 800-931-3713 and they could not activate it either. They gave me the option of a refund, shipping me a new one, or sending me to the store where they can activate it. I chose the store route but today, the 25th, they turned me away as well & said I need to call the activation line as they do not deal with activating cards. Calling them today, I had to explain my situation to 4 different people within the process of being placed on hold & the call ended up automatically transferring. They finally said I need to speak with Microsoft to activate the card. Now this is the first attentive human I've spoken to yet (not a BB employee). Supposedly within 2 days, I should have my card activated or a credit of the points I purchased placed on my account as a "courtesy" My point is, this should be activated long before I receive it & I should simply be able to put a code in. As of now, I still do not have an active card, have spent 3 conversations on the phone totalling over an hour & a half, & have driven to the store. What was the point of ever ordering this product on-line? Do not purchase this item from Best Buy. They do not have a system set up to properly sell these.

These card are great for gifts. I purchase most of my points online, saving the gas and mileage to pick up the points for the same price. Sometimes when you catch sales going on you can take better advantage of the cost.

So I bought this to give to someone for Xmas and I asked for a gift receipt as well. Person who I gave this present to decided they wanted something else so I decided to return it to store and exchange it for a game. To my surprise customer service told me that I cannot exchange this or return the item. I asked why. I was told once best buy scans the barcode it automatically register to Microsoft and they cannot cancel it. I asked them why they would give me a gift receipt if I can't even return it. Also I had original receipt and had bought it less than a week ago. I was told to call Microsoft and speak to them about getting a gift card or something similar. I told customer rep that I don't want a gift card and I wanted to exchange this or get my money back. It seems pointless to even have a return policy for this or hand out a gift receipt if you can't return or exchange. I usually buy my gadgets and games from best buy but this definitely leaves. Bad taste in my mount. I am sure 4000 Microsoft points is great but I just want to warn any potential buyers thy if u purchase this item as a gift think twice and make sure person you are buying it for really wants it or your out $50 plus tax. I would love someone from bestbuy corp to contact me and gets this resolve if possible. In any case happy holidays!

The points card is great if you like to buy add ons to games for your Xbox 360. I think they charge a little much for the points cards.

point cards are easy to use and deliver what they advertise however there should be rewards for high users of the cards
