As an Xbox based gamer, I find Xboc LIVE to be a necessity to enjoy gaming. I picked this particular type of membership thinking this would mean 6 months of Xbox live followed by an extra month of Xbox gold for a total of 7 months. A great bang for my buck, or so I thought. This membership gives you one month of Gold membership within the first month of your 6 months of your Xbox live. After that, it is renewed automatically or you can cancel the GOLD membership. I did not realize the date to cancel and cancelled a day late. Unfortunately I couldn't ask for the $9.99 back from Microsoft but that wasn't a big deal. Overall, if you want to experience the month of Xbox LIVE Gold, this can be an option for you. As you will have a month to explore if you truly benefit from that higher tier subscription. However, if what you are looking for is a longer time of Xbox LIVE for your money, you may want to consider other options available.

You need to have Xbox Live. With all the issues Microsoft has with their online services, the one thing that is nice is that they have not raised the price since the beginning of XBL. And now you get 4 free games every month when you are an XBL member.

X Box Live Gold Card. 6 months plus one bonus month. From what I could find No one else offered this card. X Box website usually offers Black Friday deals on their site, but this year Nothing. I knew from past holidays and birthdays that I could count on Best Buy to give me a good deal! Free shipping and was super fast! Other sites only offered downloads-I wanted a physical card -you know stocking stuffer time! Great deal!

Good deal with bonus month. The one year is still the best deal, but this one was nice to get so we could have online gaming. Gold live is a great deal. We already have gotten three free games because of gold.

You buy it and you use it. There isn't much to it. You can't leave a bad review for something that really doesn't do anything. I recommend it if you wan to play XBOX Live.

I purchased this for my boyfriend. Not only do you get an extra month of Gold for free, you get a code to download Rainbow 6 Seige for free, as well.

Extra minthbin the half years makes it just as good as the one year buy at least in my opinion. I wouldn’t buy the 6 month without the extra month.

Our son was pleased with this Christmas present... especially since he has at least six months that he does not have to pay the monthly fee.

I get this for my kids so I can hold leverage and still have them work to earn the privilege of playing online...the free month is good too.

if you buy a Xbox1 and you're wanting to play online you have to get Xbox live, you can't play online without it, there are other benefits they throw in also, you get a few different free games every month to play (usually older games) you also get discounts on other games you purchase online, if you're familiar with the playstation + the Xbox live is basically the same thing.

I bought this because it not only offered an extra month for free but also because it also came with a free copy of Rainbow Six Siege.

Got my 7 months along with rainbow six siege as a free gift. The game is 40$ alone so this is great value (not the Walmart brand)

It’s not as good of a deal as the 12 months of xbox live gold, but I got a free game with it at the time so it was a great deal

Got the 6+1 month for $25, as it was $15 off ($39.99 retail) w the purchase of CoD WW2....the game on the other hand, sucks.
