With the move to digital games there is no need for a disc any longer. The games, due to their size, do take a while to download, but Microsoft allows you to download them ahead so you can get playing as soon as the game is released. I have had no issues with the video quality on my 4k screen.

I like the idea that all the games are downloaded rather than installed with a disc drive. The only drawback is that some games, depending on the size, can take several hours to install. Over all I’m very satisfied with this unit. It came with MineCraft and some other games I don’t remember. Recommend it

This does not have a cd drive, but no room for cd's in dorms and most games they download anyway nowadays so this is perfect. Remember to get a headset too.
