This console exceeded my expectations! The color is amazing and it performs well. Quiet while running and a quick load time for games and apps. Only down side to me is that you cannot buy the kinect or another controller to match.

only thing lacking is that the download times... take forever.... It works GREAT, it has just the right amount of storage and is a really appeasing sight in the military green... If you do decide to buy it, you will not regret it!

I upgraded my xbox one (day one edition) to the XBOX one S and it is basically the same system but the specs are better. And of course watching 4k movies is great. It also uses less space on my entertainment center which is a bonus.

I've been a gamer for 37 years, I've watched the birth of tech. I remember playing for hours and hours. The graphics improved a little at a time. Then Xbox was better but Xbox One S took a major leap. So worth it.

If you need a console get this bundle. You get the must up to date S console and the best game out right now in a digital copy, you can load it on 2 different consoles & then there is the new S controller too. OD Green is Rad buy it

Got this black friday 2016. Best buy had great deal. 1 tb xbox with battlefield pre installed. Free extra controller. Had a discount with 1 year xbox live. And one other free game on disk. Best thing xbox has over playstation is backwards compatibility. Its not all 360 or original xbox games but you can find better deals on games that way.

First off, I want to say that the military green on this console is AMAZING. Very nice dark green finish on both the controller and console. Other than that, it's your standard Xbox One. Great performance, great UI, great games.

Was looking for a 4K Blu Ray player and ended up adding this console to my collection since we just don't watch that many movies any more given all the various streaming options. My other Xbox One is the Elite Edition and lacks the 4K and HDR features. The Elite version is, however, much faster when starting games due to the hybrid drive. Hopefully the folks at MS will merge all these technologies on their next console. The graphics on this console are noticeably more detailed and the colors far more vibrant. I am running both consoles on a 65" Samsung JS8500 vis a Marantz SR5009 so that doesn't hurt the equation either. As a gamer and someone that just doesn't watch many movies this was a great investment as it the bundle came with a free controller and a $50 BB gift card

bought this online and received a few little goodies, excellent console, great graphics, super fast system, 1tb hard disc is a perfect size, plays 4k blue ray movies unlike other comparable consoles. what's their not to love?

I am a former Playstation use who decided to make a switch to Xbox because of the way Xbox handles the 4K Bluray option. I couldn't be happier with my decision. Switching did require a slight learning curve but I have been happy so far. The game play is the same if not slightly better and the user interface is very easy to use and understand. This particular bundle came with a downloadable version of Battlefield 1 and the console is a dark military green in color. I know this isn't a very technical review but there are plenty of those out there that are written by people who are much more educated around this than I am. From the average gamer though, I am more than happy with what the Xbox console offers and the game play and visuals that I have experienced so far

Prior to my purchase, I think it was a little confusing because there were several different consoles available, as well as different hard drives. Then there is the competition to consider. But I have a very old Xbox that I've had for probably 15 years so I guess I was predisposed to purchase another MS product. I purchased a couple of games with the unit when I bought it, but as it turns out it wasn't necessary. I got a free download of Battlefield and that is a great game. It's challenging and the graphics are really good. When I play, I find myself playing Battlefield. I'm just amazed at the improvements that they've made. Add to that it will also play Bluray movies and others. So it's very functional and simple to use and setup. So all in all,it was a good purchase.

I've had both the PS4 and the Xbox One S. While the PS4 does have better overall graphics the Xbox seems much more smooth gameplay. Plus there's a lot more entertainment wise and the 4K Blu-ray player definitely set it apart.

I purchased this xbox in a bundle deal on black Friday. I already owned a day one xbox but I was interested in the 4k and expanded HD. I was unware that this xbox upscales the picture. The Division looks amazing on my 4k TV.

The Xbox one has turned out to be a good purchase. When I turned it on, it instantly recognized my TV was 4k and changed to optimal settings. The only thing I didn't care for was that was that it had to connect to the net and download a large update to configure the Xbox before I could do anything with it. Outside of that, it's ran great and the graphics are awesome.

Love the features both gaming and and media wise. 4K picture looks great and the fact that it plays 4K discs elongates the need for another device. Smooth graphics and great interface built in as well.

Got a great deal during Black Friday. Picked this 1TB model up for $299 with the Battlefield 1 game. Awesome game, Awesome Graphics. Granddaughter loves playing her Minecraft and Roblox. Excellent Entertainment Machine...

Got a 4K TV so I was looking at getting a 4K Blu-ray player and heard that the Xbox One S played 4K Blu-rays. Worth the upgrade. Movies and games look great. I also like that the controllers were upgraded too. They take 3/4 less time to sync with the console when powered on. The new size allows it to fit in my entertainment center unlike the previous version.

it has beautiful graphics it is fast at loading games

Loads up a bit faster than my other Xbox One console. Runs quieter and cooler as well. Nice touch with the olive green color. 4K blu ray player is not bad. Graphics wise, it only pays off if you have a 4k tv with HDR.
