Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Xbox One S 500GB console's 4K capabilities, graphics, and ease of use. Many appreciate its slim size and the inclusion of an extra controller, along with the picture quality and overall performance. However, some users express concerns regarding the limited storage space and the battery life of the controllers. The relatively small hard drive capacity is a recurring negative comment.

Definitely worth the upgrade from a 360

Fast, slim, and modern. Definitely a worthy upgrade from a 360 to XBox One S. Was wondering if I should get the One instead, saving $50 but definitely made the right choice by going with the S. Don't have to worry about the power brick and it's so much easier for carrying around in a bag. Controllers are really good, not too different from the traditional ones, but Bluetooth is definitely a plus. Overall, really good buy.

Definently worth getting the Xbox one s over the original Xbox one. Smaller, has 4K, and the best part is no power brick

I have the first gen X Box One and man this is a nicer unit. not only is it smaller it feels snappier in the UI and I'm so glad thy got rid of the power brick. My first gen seems to always have a fan or something running not only in the Xbox itself but also the power brick which you could hear in a quite room, very annoying.

This is an excellent gaming system and the smaller size on the one S compared to the Xbox one is awesome. Getting rid of the Giant power brick has helped with cord management as well.

Coming from a day one launch xbox one, I have to say this upgrade was well worth it. 40% lighter, takes up way less space in entertainment center, and also doesn't have that clunky and huge power brick adapter. Did I also mention is has HDR, 4k streaming and 4k Uhd blu ray playback. The Xbox One S trumps the older xbox in every way possible, I'm so glad I made the upgrade.

I did the one s "upgrade", its the same machine with a different look. The coolest feature is that the big power brick is no more as its internal. Bottom line: Unless you want/need the 4k features it is an unnecessary purchase as its the same xbox one with cosmetic upgrades.
