Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Xbox One S 500GB console's 4K capabilities, graphics, and ease of use. Love the clean, simple design of the Xbox one S. It takes up very little space. Was a little annoyed we had to download a separate app just to be able to play 4K movies through the system. Also wish you didn't have to be connected to the internet in order to play a game you have a hardcopy of. The graphics and picture are great. Battery life on the controllers is also impressive. We probably would have upgraded to the 1 terabyte had we realized how quickly the internal storage is used up. That can be remedied with use of an external hard drive though.

I bought this knowing i had extra storage. But the value is in the 4K playing and upscale. It will also work with HDR if your TV is compatible. I like the bundle with the game as well. Battlefield 1 is one of the most realistic graphic game i have played. It is completely worth the purchase.

It's a great system! The 4K Blu-ray works wonderfully. However I wish I would have got the one terabyte but I ended up buying a external hard drive anyway.

This system is amazing. I have been using PlayStation 3 for years and finally switched to Xbox. The graphics are superb. The only thing I would change is getting the 1 Terabyte because the game files are huge and take up a lot of space on the console. My favorite feature is using the voice commands with the connect. Call me lazy, but I love saying Xbox on or off and not having to use a remote.

A great price to get started on Xbox One. Definitely get an external HDD for this one after 5 games or so but since they are going down in price really fast that should not be a problem. You will get a good amount of gaming before having to buy a hdd. I have yet to try the HDR (no hdr tv yet) I am happy knowing I'm future proof.

We bought this console for muy son. It was an upgrade to his 360. He had enjoyed the graphics and all three other features. I did not know at the time, but the unit's internal storage was not big enough for all the new games. We had to purchase an external hard drive for all his games.

Very good system but I recommend the 1TB system if you are going to be playing lot of games. Very good for 4K streaming. With this system you get a lot of bang for your buck most 4K players are the same price why not get better a XBOX ONE S

I had decided to buy this item when i seen there was a special that was being run in the store, getting the unit and game is a great deal. Having the 4k option is also a plus. I would advise that this is the 500 gig model and that 500 can be used very quickly, after updates your given a little over 350 gigs of usable space in my case. After a downloading a few games the space can be used very quickly. Other then that it has been a great purchase and very entertaining.

One bad thing is you have to download the games onto the Xbox and the hard drive isn't big enough we had to buy an external hard drive, but the graphics are really good. We love it because of the 4K DVD is included with it and you can't beat it for the price

Really enjoy this new Xbox. It is faster than previous versions. The 4K playback is worth the cost by itself as it's cheaper than buying a dedicated 4K DVD player. My only issue would be the small-ish 500 GB storage.

I bought this console on a whim, and was not disappointed. Not being much of a gamer, I find the Xbox easy to use and set up. I wish I had bought the 1TB model because of the free games with the online membership.

So far I'm loving the XBox One. The graphics are fantastic and it has a great selection of games and apps. File sizes are huge, so don't expect the 500GB HD to last long. My one complaint, is that if you connect your cable box to the XBox, you have to have the XBox on to watch TV. Not the end of the world, but seems like an oversight in design.

I finally decided to upgrade my Xbox 360 into an Xbox 1 due to the fact that a game was coming out I wanted that I would no longer be able to play on my 360. I also didn't want to buy a laptop to play this particular game on so that I could use it on my TV and my desktop was too far away even for the longest HDMI cable. The graphics obviously are on par with other gaming systems and are good for the price of the system. The games work fine and all but, the interface is not nearly as easy to navigate as the 360 and earlier. Also, my Xbox Slim overheated twice so I had to go buy third party USB attachable fans to keep it cooled. To top it off, it is absolutely ridiculous that games MUST be downloaded onto the Xbox hard drive. I am not very happy with the system and have not bought any more games since the initial purchase.

Had to upgrade from our 360. I bought this in a bundle on sale for under $200. 500 GB is VERY small for today's games so I HIGHLY recommend getting a 2 TB console for the extra $100 as you're going to spend at least that much for an external drive of 1TB. If you are just staring out with no game library, this might be okay for you. If you're like me, I had 55 games already to download when I first signed on to my console from Games with Gold free games. I also already had a brand new external 4TB USB 3.0 drive that was just sitting around. Future proof yourself now. Most games, if not all, need to be installed on the console (like you would computer games) whether you buy a disc from the store or download from Microsoft/online. 500 GB is just a snack for these games. I only recommend this size console to people who doesn't play a lot of games and to people who want 4K Blu-ray player.

The One S is a great console! I was looking for a blue ray play with 4K compatibility for my 4K TV. However, I am also into playing video games and having a great time. For the price of a 4K Blu Ray player, I was able to get the One S which has so much more capabilities. The processing is fast and never lagging. The only con I would have is that games take up so much memory, with four or five games installed on the console, I have used up around 50% of it's 500GB memory. So if you're an avid gamer, you might look at the 1TB storage and larger.

After years of having an Xbox I finally had to give and get the Xbox one, as games were slowly being outdated I waited till the price drop and finally got the battle film version of the Xbox one S. My son and I are very happy and love playing all the variety of games and I am very happy that I can play backwards compatible games from the 360. 500 gigs is not very much when you are downloading games, so one terabyte or hooking up an external hard drive is probably the perfect thing to do

I would recommend the 1 TB over the 500 GB. The storage space disappears quickly. If you buy the 500 GB purchase an external hard drive. Especially if you have several users on one unit. Great platform! Easy to navigate.

The smaller size of the xbox one s is great. The 500gb harddrive isn't enough capacity if you're planning on downloading a lot of games. I suggest stepping up to the larger harddrive size.
