Customers have good things to say about the Xbox One S 500GB console's 4K capabilities, graphics, and ease of use. Many appreciate its slim size and the inclusion of an extra controller, along with the picture quality and overall performance. However, some users express concerns regarding the limited storage space and the battery life of the controllers. The relatively small hard drive capacity is a recurring negative comment.

It took some time to try and find out which console I wanted to buy. It was between the ps3 slim and xbox one s. The reason why I chose the xbox was because of the controller and the people that I knew that had it. That's what is comes down to is the other people you have to play with online. The only downside to the xbox is the downloads. You have to download every game you play. It took almost 2 days just to download GTA V and you still have to put the disk in to play. Also your going to have to buy a lot of double A batteries because the controllers eat through them like crazy. Other then that the xbox was a good choice!

This is an awesome system! My only complaint is not being able to sell my useless Xbox One after replacing it with this one... and now not being able to sell either for a decent price so I can buy the Xbox One X. Thanks for taking the Apple approach Microsoft. Smh

I bought this system on a great sale. 300.00$ it included Battlefield 1 a 500 gb hard drive and an additional game valued up to 60.00. I also own a PS4 but I enjoy the social online gaming of XBOX over PS4. As far as graphics go the systems are both very close. Performance is similar too. After getting familiar with the dashboard of XBOX it was much improved over previous versions. I had taken a break from XBOX for over a year. The system has shown a lot of improvement. I would highly recommend this system to my friends or anyone else looking to play video games online.

Xbox One S impresses

I upgraded from my launch Xbox One system to the 2016 S model when I bought my new HDR-enabled 4K television (Samsung 65KS8000). I can't tell a huge difference in games that are being upscaled, but titles like Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 which use HDR are stunning. The ability to view 4K content on Netflix and 4K Blu-rays was the big seller for me though. System is still whisper-quiet and stay incredibly cool. I really appreciate that Microsoft also went back to physical buttons instead of touch buttons. The updated controller also feels very nice!

The Xbox one is already my favorite of the big three, and the S model improves it in a few noticeable ways. Firstly, it supports 4k and HDR playback which is great because I just got an oled TV. And it's way smaller and lighter than the original with no battery brick so it's easy to maneuver/travel with. If you have an original Xbox one, you can but don't have to upgrade. If not, definitely make the S your first option.

So this is a bundle, not only do you get a newly designed Xbox one s. Which is smaller than the old one, has the ability to play bluray 4K disks, including 3D movies. You can also stream movies, shows and videos in 4K. And last but not least, HDR gaming. HDR is the next big thing out, if you haven't heard. So on top of getting the console, you get a digital download of battlefield 1. One of the best games of the year. You also get 14 day trial of Xbox live and you also get a full month of EA access. So happy I got it.

This console is a multi platform of entertainment. From playing games to watching movies. You can stream 4K content and 4K blu rays. Console also plays games in a 4K upscale and will implement HDR for games that were developed to use HDR. To get a 4K console and 4K content machine in one is great buy. Take note that this console has about 10% more kick than the original Xbox One. It upscales games to 4K on a 4K tv. But don't expect to be mind blown. You will notice a difference vs a regular 1080p tv.

I own a Day One XBone, but this was bundled with a 55" Samsung television which I was in the market for so I ended up with another XBone. It pairs great with the television and the picture is amazing. Plus it makes sense if you are a fan of Battlefield 1. The size is considerably smaller than my Day One XBone. It does not however come with a kinect, but if you have an original XBone than I believe Microsoft will give you an adapter for the old one to use with the XBone S. I highly recommend this bundle.

Definently worth getting the Xbox one s over the original Xbox one. Smaller, has 4K, and the best part is no power brick

we initially bought this console as an alternative to a 4K disc player since we already have a PS4. Well the picture quality and ease of operating have brought this console into direct competition with the PS4. While I still love certain games on the PS4, Destiny isnt going anywhere, my wife and I have a great time with this device as well. Have already recommended to several friends- a great deal particularly with the 4K features and several games are even cross platform with PC.

Much better deal than the PS4 pro. Specs may seem to be significantly less than the PS4, but picture quality is practically the same and the user interface is better in my opinion. Factor in the ability to watch live tv, and play at the same time along with the ability to stream 4k and play 4k Blu-Rays for under $300 you won't be disappointed... If you play tons of games, save movies etc, it probably is worth considering spending the extra $50 for double the hard drive space.

I had the Xbox one and thought for a while if i should get the Xbox one S. Was it worth the upgrade? Yes and no. I do like that it smaller and not having the brick for power adapter is a big plus. Being able to now play 4k movies is awesome. All in all i got it due to my regular xbox one being on special at one point so i probably lost about $30 when i traded in. You dont need it, but it definitely would be nice if you could have it.

Got this for my 16-yr old for Xmas to replace his original xbox one. Fantastic price ($250 + tax) with Battlefield 1 included.
Best system on the market right now factoring in the built-in 4K player. And I'm actually more of a Playstation guy myself but I'm currently mad at Sony because the PS4 Pro costs too much and doesn't include a 4K player.
Sony, if you're listening, I will not upgrade my PS4 until it plays 4K discs!

This product is a very excellent product for any gamer. It was very easy to set up. If you have a 4K TV and combine this product with the TV, the picture quality is phenomenal. Also, the controller for this unit is excellent. It has enough controls to control the game that you're playing and do everything you want to do with the controller. A well thought out controller. I would truly recommend this product to anyone !

I personally love the console itself, however there aren’t as many enjoyable games for Xbox as there is for the PlayStation 4 in my opinion. On the other hand, the controller is very ergonomic and it’s so nice to use, I just personally don’t prefer this console. But it’s great either way!!
