Xbox One S 500GB
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system is amazing. I have been using PlayStation 3 for years and finally switched to Xbox. The graphics are superb. The only thing I would change is getting the 1 Terabyte because the game files are huge and take up a lot of space on the console. My favorite feature is using the voice commands with the connect. Call me lazy, but I love saying Xbox on or off and not having to use a remote.

Great system if on sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the Xbox one S offers a lot for the money. If you can get the bundle I did for the price I would say it's worth it. Battlefield 1 bundle, extra wireless controller, and 3 mos of Gold live for $249 is great. But retail it's not worth it. I have the PS4 pro and it just can't compete. I really don't use the 4k bluray player so that isn't really a plus. It's just there. If you're an Xbox fan then it's great. If you're used to PlayStation then you will find issues with it. For example, I have Battlefront on PS4. And really enjoyed it. Looks great. Got it on sale on Xbox and it looks terrible. I thought I was playing Battlefront on the GameCube. Apparently the Xbox version of the game is rendered in 720 and the PS4 is 900p. But you'll find those kind of comparisons often that many games struggle to meet the frame rate or resolution compared to PS4 or especially the PS4 pro. So with all that said, if you love Xbox then you'll love this if the price is right. If you love PlayStation but are debating getting this console to play a few exclusives you might be disappointed. I pretty much let my kids just use this and play and I use my PS4 pro. If you're going to invest in a console and not sure which one to get then hands down the PS4 pro is the better console. For many years. Even when Scorpio comes out it will be cheaper and comparable to Microsoft new hardware. Just my take on it tho.

Ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not bad for the price. Bought primarily for the 4k player. Had a lot of issues when I first purchased. Trouble playing several 4k movies as well as audio issues. Updates seem to have remedied most of this issues however. I would recommend a separate dedicated 4k player.

Much better revision of the X One.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to upgrade 4k Blu ray. So I decided to upgrade my original Xbox One. Plus, to use my 4ktv for the 4k Blu ray and 4k streaming abilities.

Stunning 4k HDR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where to start lol the overall design of this console is beautiful, the massive power brick is gone and they brought back the white color scheme, but when it comes down to it if you have a 4k HDR tv to combine with this WOW it is stunning picture qualtiy makes games that much more fun to play video games, also it has a UHD-bluray player thats cheaper than sony or samsung

The game system is tough to learn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I would assume most people reviewing this would want know if they should buy this over a playstation or they just bought it checking reviews. Either way I honestly can say I don't have that answer for you. There is a few things I want to explain to cover how this purchase will effect you. First if you are buying it for yourself. Make sure you have the patience and the knowledge to get things running. Apps took me a minute download and operate. The biggest problem I have with this is its very hard. I hook up a lot of things in my house and have a lot of electronics. And this is pretty difficult to navigate. Personally I should see if there is a remote for things like getting out of apps or simply getting back to downloading. I had to google everything. And the back button didn't always bring me back to the home screen. The games are super heavy in memory. 47 gigs for the battlefied that came with it. And 47 gigs downloading takes a very long time. Even getting my blu ray on I needed to download an app. And another thing about the apps, i wish you could add what apps you want to be honest. I want my Id channel app, i could use an oxygen channel app and so on. People are trying to steer away from cable so all the TV apps they can get they should put it on here. With that said things I do like. I like the game when I played it. Didn't last but for 30 seconds but my last video game system was a playstation 3 and I wasn't great at that either. So i'm not used to the xbox controls. I think they should include a tutorial on this system. Explaining exactly how you get out of some screens. My roommate has an xbox 360 and I know she is probably jealous cause I don't even use my xbox 1 s. It plays 4k and I got it cause I haven't been in gaming for a while. But i have a external blu ray writer for my computer with a graphics card, so I mostly spend time on that. I don't even use it for the blu ray. And I have an apple tv which works great. If you have a streaming device and you have simply a blu ray players are you don't really care to play 4k then this system probably wont do anything for you unless you are gamer which I am not. If they wanted some advice, add more apps. Ones that separate the xbox from others. And make the controls a lot easier or teach people. I have a 55 inch samsung tv so it does look good when I play it. And when I get a new 4k tv i might get more use out it. But right now it just collects dust until I decide to get involved in games. Cause its not user friendly.

Worth upgrading my old Xbox One For
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is no question this was worth upgrading my old Xbox One for. Not only is the machine much much smaller than the previous Xbox One designs the 4k blu-ray capability really takes the whole package to the next level (no video game pun intended). I won't spend a better $300 bucks this year for the amount of joy i've already gotten from this thing!

Fun console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great console to have for pretty much any entertainment use with your TV. I'm not much of a gamer, but I bought this console for it's 4K blu ray player and 4K streaming capabilities, and it's been great so far. Easy to set up and navigate through, the games I've played so far have been fun. Highly recommended to get the most out of any 4K tv.

Solid console at a good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this console when my day one edition died, and was surprised how much smaller it was than my first one. It supports 4K which is a step up, and is still very easy to hook up and get going. The battlefield game can't say I am a big fan of but that's just my opinion, and it was either that game or Minecraft so it was an easy choice.

Nice Upgrade from x360
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for daughter for birthday. She loves it over the xbox360 I still use. I played it just to check it out and now I want one. The 4k is awesome to play games with. Skip the xboxone and go straight to xboxone s. This is what the xboxone should have been from the start. If you like to game and want better looking graphics this is it.

Great buy!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Grabbed this on Black Friday for $249.99, worth the upgrade from my original xbox one due to size, color, integrated power supply, included battlefield 1 game, and 4k and HDR support, goes perfectly with my samsung ks8000 4k tv, I can tell the difference in processing speed with the load times plus better graphics even if it is minor.

A nice and cheap way to get started on Xbox One.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great price to get started on Xbox One. Definitely get an external HDD for this one after 5 games or so but since they are going down in price really fast that should not be a problem. You will get a good amount of gaming before having to buy a hdd. I have yet to try the HDR (no hdr tv yet) I am happy knowing I'm future proof.

Big improvment over first gen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the first gen X Box One and man this is a nicer unit. not only is it smaller it feels snappier in the UI and I'm so glad thy got rid of the power brick. My first gen seems to always have a fan or something running not only in the Xbox itself but also the power brick which you could hear in a quite room, very annoying.

X Box One S
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this console for muy son. It was an upgrade to his 360. He had enjoyed the graphics and all three other features. I did not know at the time, but the unit's internal storage was not big enough for all the new games. We had to purchase an external hard drive for all his games.

Amazing Xbox console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market to upgrade top the latest game console. I had a great experience with my Xbox 360 and it was a natural choice to upgrade to an Xbox One. The graphics are amazingly crisp, great picture, and great sound. the UI takes some time getting used to, but easy to navigate. The only minor cons are Battlefield one takes a while to download, and every now and then my controller disconnects for no reason (I changed out the batteries already). Overall, another great product by Microsoft.
