Although it doesn't have a lot of storage which is to my preference i love how well it works everything is fine with it

Purchase the Xbox One S to replace my original Xbox One so I can enjoy 4k gaming with my new 4k television. Honestly it feels like I made a major upgrade but at the same time a bit of a downgrade. I say that because of course the 4k feature along with the subtraction of the power brick is a high plus. The fact that it is smaller and a bit lighter is a plus. The USB in the front oppose to being on the side a plus. Build in ir blaster, plus. Brushing by the power button will not turn the system off, defiantly a plus. As for the negative, it does not have a kinect connection which I find odd but not for Microsoft I guess. Now I have to buy an adapter which will cost me an additional $50 if I want to use my kinect. Other then that, I love my Xbox.

Slim! Fast! Definite worth the money I paid for! Always been an Xbox guy and this lives up to the Microsoft name.

Okay, so I had to upgrade when the disc drive on my original Xbox One stopped reading discs. That said, I'm going to get that repaired at least so it'll be in my office. The timing was right though as I got this when it was less than $200. But now on to this puppy... I'm really enjoying the form factor on this one a lot. This thing does run smooth and still runs games like a charm. I have a projector setup, though not at 4K just yet - I'm holding out on that format as 1080 is still sufficient for me - and this is still worthy of an entertainment device for sure. What's also useful is how I had my game installs on an external drive so I could do a seem-less transition over. What stinks is that I'll eventually have to get an adapter if I want to use the Kinect on this, and I actually utilized it a few different times (but I'll be honest, it was for voice commands mostly). What also stinks is that the storage space on board is so limited, though that's a common problem. If you have 4K and want super-high performance, then go ahead and shell out for the X. If you are a bit on the "lower end" then this is best bang for the buck. However, I should once more stress that I got this heavily on sale, so yes I can say it's for sure a bargain. Otherwise, if you get a bundle for around $250-300, then go for that!

Recently upgraded to S model from the original Xbox One. It’s smaller, lighter and quieter. Plus it does 4K.

Great deal at $189. A gaming console and a 4k player with wifi. Definitely worth every penny at this price!

Upgraded from the 360 and my kids love it. Graphics are a little better and the machine itself is faster.

I have the fat version and the new X, bought this one to upgrade the fat one, it is quite slim, just one thing : when it's on it makes this noice of like a little cd spinning around that not even the fat version of the xbox did. Design, color and perfomance is solid, but if you put it on your bedroom you will hear it on the night (sometimes even with the xbx off) . If this is going to be your main xbox, definitely get an external hard drive.

We purchased this item for my son for Christmas. Love the sleek design and the slimness.

Have owned multiple xboxes, and now we are filling all the rooms in the house with them. They are wonderful at working together between the different kids rooms. They are also easy to use outside the house. Though most don't take advantage of it, you can play your games when you are not at home if you have a good internet connection. All you need is a laptop and a controller. Xbox is the way to go.

I wanted a 4K Bluray player that could do HDR as well and wanted whatever exclusive titles the Xbox had to play. It does exactly that, plus it was on sale so it seemed like a good time to go for it. Still hate that every game has to do an entire install so the hard drive filled up fast. But with the backwards compatible 360 and original Xbox games it definitely gets more use for that alone
