Customers highly value the Xbox One S 500GB Halo Collection Bundle's 4K capabilities and its compact size, citing impressive graphics and picture quality. Many appreciate the improved performance and ease of use, along with the quieter operation compared to previous models. The Xbox one s is better than the original because it looks nicer and is slimmer and has a 4k blue ray player. It's a good purchase for someone that still doesn't have an Xbox one

I traded in my launch xbox one so i can have a 4K Bluray player and the capability to play games with HDR. Since day 1 of buying this xbox one S, i have been more pleased and satisfied with my purchase. Bluray playback is amazing. The scaler inside the xbox one does an amazing job upscaling 1080p images to 2160p(4k). If you are looking for an amazing 4k uhd player and the ability to play some amazing games as well! Don't hesitate!!! GET THIS NOW!

First off if you already have an Xbox one and don't have a 4k tv stay away. No need to upgrade. If you have a 4k tv but don't watch 4k content don't upgrade. Now if you want to watch 4k blu-ray disc and either want to upgrade or if this is your first xbox one this is worth the purchase. Even if you don't play games this is a very good 4k blu-ray player. I don't really care for 4k streaming because most ISP's don't have the bandwidth to really deliver. For the gamers this cleans up older games nicely. Nothing ground breaking you will see the difference. One additional plus is that this is way more aesthetically pleasing than the original xbox one. I have the white one and it's mounted on the way and it looks beautiful. So it may be worth it for some but not others. It all depends what you want to do with it.

I most specifically love that theyou have dome away with the power brick. Nowadays entertainment centers are getting smaller and smaller with televisions able to be mounted to the walls and such. The power brick was very outdated and only clutters up an otherwise tidy area. The 4k resolution capability isn't being fully taken advantage of by alot of games just yet but it'll get there. My only real complaint is the hoops you have to jump through to get the kinect adapter from Microsoft and how bulky that is. Other than that it's a great system and I'm happy I got it.

I had been looking for a 4K Bluray player for my home theater system. I wasn't too thrilled with the costs of the very few available. Then I saw that the new Xbox One S was coming out and that it would also play 4K Blurays. I am not a gamer, so I cannot comment on that, but this player is awesome at 4K Blurays. It loads extremely quickly and is fairly easy to navigate if you buy the optional movie player style remote. Who knows, one day I may learn to play some of the games, especially since I also got some new ones included in the deal.

Upgraded from Xbox One for 4K capability. I wouldn't recommend purchasing if you don't have components necessary for a 4K experience. Instead if your tv is 1080P or are not HDCP 2.2 compliant, I would recommend holding off until the superior gaming system is released in 2017 by Microsoft. I love the One S for what it is but I only purchased it for 4K and UHD Blu Ray capabilities.

I have to admit the S is worth the money to upgrade it's definitely a lot faster the unit is a lot smaller which isn't a huge issue but the main thing I love is the controller has wireless auto updates. No more plugging it in to to keep it up to date. That plus the range the controller works is way better for those who want to step away but still stay in the conversation.

4K and HDR beauty...if you have the right TV.

The XBOXONE S is just like the Xbox One but can display in HDR and 4K now. The upscaling on most games is good, but my TV actually does a better job for games. For 4K blu-rays you can't beat this for the money, because you get a great gaming system and UHD blu-ray player for one price. Beware of the setup though! CNET TV gurus even concede that the variables and settings required to see if your TV will support all of the features of this console, make it super confusing and unclear. Do your TV research before you buy!
