I bought this not knowing which headset I was going to connect, as I am new to XBOX. As it turns out, the port accepts headsets with microphones in-line, exactly like the ones that came with your smartphone. I discovered this by plugging in the phones from my Note5, and then also connected my Bose Mie2 that I connect to my phone when I run. It rocks when I have the game sounds muted in the house and the Bose in my ears during Division Dark Zone!! And I don't wake the baby!!

Since I already own a wireless headset, I needed an adapter to make it compatible. This item works very well and is really easy to use. I highly recommend buying this over another headset if it can be avoided

I use this with a set of Astro A40 and have almost no complaints. Volume mix for chat and game is adjustable as well as global volume. I set chat volume all the way up since the Astro A40 have game volume separately. When things get audibly hectic the chat volume can get a little drowned out but that's more to do with how the Astro A40s mix the sound than anything else. All in all definitely recommend this product.

$25 is a bit much for an adapter. Especially since you don't even need it with the new controllers. But, if you don't have a new controller, this one does the job.

I have some TurtleBeache px5's and hated the fact that I had to buy an adapter to use them with my xbone. For the price, its not a big deal tho. Works as intended but the buttons are wonky. You have to press hard to control game or chat volume. Since my px5's are wireless, I have to turn down the game volume on the adapter since there is no need for it (7.1 through my px5's.) I have heard of these breaking after a certain amount of time but these are still kicking and in good condition, but then again I take care of my stuff really good. Anyway, if you need something to connect your headset, then just go with it.

The adapter works very well with my first gen Astro A50s and save me money from buying the new version. Solid build would recommend to others to pick up to save yourself some dinero if you have older headphones.

Best purchase yet for my Xbox One. Wish it came stock I the system. Good quality and comes with everything you need to program your controller and get playing.

If you have a 3.5mm Headset that you use for PC or PS4 i would definitely recommend this piece if you're going to be playing online games for Xbox One it is great for its price and is definitely worth it

This adapter makes it quick and easy to adjust the headset volume while using my headset. It allows you to control the chat/game volume mix and also to quickly mute the mic when needed.

Glad that this alows me to use my turtle beach playstation elite headset with my xbox one. Just wish there was a wireless way to use the headset on both consoles. Nice button response

It sucks I had to buy this product. The controllers should have had the adapter from the beginning, but it works fine. It's pretty cool how you can adjust the volume on the game and chat on the device.

I was able to use my xbox 360 headset with this device since it came with the adapter. It also works great with my HyperX Cloud II headset. The only con is that it didn't come bundled with my xbox one.

I was surprised this even existed! To be able to use your 360 headsets for Xbox one which just an adapter. You don't have to go out and buy another $200 headset if you already have them! Great product!

Bought this so I can use my Astro A40's on my Abox One, works great. Just remember to turn down the game volume all the way or you will hear sounds from both the headset and the controller (with a slight delay).

I have some really old Tritton AX Pros that only work with ps3 and xbox 360. Did a little youtube search and got the headset working with the adapter no probelm! Very happy with the purchase of this.

A definite must for all XBox controller including the updated version with the headset jack built in. It's so much more convenient to be able to change volume on the adapter than it is in settings.

A little confusion in the store whether this works for the 360 wireless turtle beach. But a third salesmen guaranteed it would and it did. Uses for the Turtle Beach wireless headset made for the xbox 360

These do pretty much as advertised. Pairs great with the xbox one headset, but works with other models as well. Controls are easy to use and work effectively.

Adapter worked with my turtle beach head sets I used with my old Xbox 360. I was worried that I would have to buy an new set and a friend told me about this adapter. Works great and cheap enough!

This works great with my headphones. Make sure to plug in the adapter and your headphones, then connect your controller to your Xbox one and upgrade the controller firmware. Never had a problem.
