The adapter is nice, it allows you to connect a 3.5 mm jack for a head set which lets you use pretty much whatever you want. It also has a nice feature that lets you play game audio though the headset as well as chat. However, the 3.5 to 2.5 adapter cable (to use 360 headsets) is trash. It stopped working on both units I bought within 2 weeks. So, it works great with 3.5mm headsets but don't expect to be able to use anything that's 2.5mm.

Love this product. It works awesome with my original xbox one controller which does not have a headphone jack and also with the new version like the xbox one s.

I have had it for a couple months now and it is perfect! Does everything I need it to do and it is nice to have such a wide variety of headphones to use with it.

Between the Xbox one and ps4 I didn't want to have two headsets to keep charged and hassle with. Purchased this to plug into the wireless Sony ps4 headset and it works great.

If you are going to use any headsets you're going to buy this or similar,(Turtlebeach has one with multi-presets) that's why i gave 4 stars.

d's gadget is perfect once you use it you will never want to go back it's the best ...you can even hear the video games on your headsets you don't have to hear through the TV

Was looking for an adapter to be able to use my Sony Playstation Gold headset on the Xbox One so that I didn't have to purchase another expensive headset. This was so easy to setup and worked on first try! All you do is plug into your controller and run a cable between this and the headset. I like the placement of the mute button and ability to adjust the various volumes. Would definitely recommend.

I love being able to use my headset for both my one and Xbox 360! This adapter gave me the ability to use the headset I'm used to and it makes such a difference in gameplay!

Volume control right there by your thumb. You're wired to the controller but not the box. This thing solves so many design annoyances of the 360's relationship to headphones

Found this adapter for my son to use with his new headphones and the old xboxone controllers! Works great and much less expensive than buying a brand new controller!

This product works well with the Xbox gaming system. I'm able to hear my friends who I virtually play without disturbing my parents.

Its good if you need it for your high end headset to be compatable with your old controller. but just ended up buying a new one.

This device worked well with stereo headphone and microphone I already had for my Android phone. It did not with with headphone set I had for my iphone. Be sure to check you headphone type! The controls are ok for switching between game volume and chat volume, I wish it was easier to tell what setting you were adjusting. Only light on controls is when you mute your mike. Overall works as advertised.

I purchased this adapter so that I could use my Turtlebeach x12 headphones which are meant for PC use. This adapter has been great with the x12 for Xbox One games.

Have a turtle beach headset for the 360 which I want to be able to use on the One. The piece is a must have for the headset to work.

This is perfect for late night gaming. If you want to hear only the game you can adjust to hear footsteps if you're into that. It's very useful!

I plugin my headphones and don't have to worry about disturbing any sleeping babies. I actually hear a lot more clearly and have since stopped using closed captioning.
