    I bought this for my son for his XBOX One. He was using a Turtle Beach headset that came with its own headset adapter but the headset was so uncomfortable we ended up returning it. We opted for a HyperX Cloud headset which required this headset adapter. It works perfectly with his new headset and he is very happy with the function and quality of the adapter.

    The Xbox One stereo adapter is a must have accessory for the Xbox One as it is the only way to use Xbox 360 or PC premium headsets, saving you from having to buy another expensive headset. I used the stereo adapter so that I can use my Turtle Beach X41 wireless headset and play games without making a lot of noise. The chat works just as well as the included Microsoft headset, and all of the regular functions are included on the adapter (mute/ volume). If you have "last gen" headsets and don't want to have them gathering dust, this is the accessory you need.

    Headphone adapter for xbox one serves as a great way to play games and listen to TV without bothering others. Since it directly gets audio from the xbox one you can mute the tv and still listen to audio. But bulky but doesn't get in the way.
