You can't use any NON-XBOX headset on an Xbox controller. I wasn't told this when I first bought my headset so I had to drive 45 minutes back to the store to buy it. If you have an Xbox and don't use an Xbox official headset buy this.

Easy to install and works great!

It uses any headphones and plugs directly into the controller. Easy to use volume control too.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just needed 3.5mm jack for the controller to listen on my headphones instead of the TV or home theater speaker. this is the solution. sometimes the sound skips like CD skips the sound but it happens once in a while. battery consumption is minimal you don't really notice.

Perfect upgrade for XBox 360 to XBox 1

I wish the original head set came with this adapter. Fortunately it's not expensive. One great feature is that it allows to mix the background and the chat volume. This is neat and not available with the default chat mono head set that comes with your controller!

Xbox One owners most needed item

It is a must need item for anyone who plays online. The controls are always in reach and although the buttons themselves are not the most tactile they work. Must have item for a Xbox one owner
