get to use my 360 headset on one now after a tweak

Great product. Bought for my son and he is satisfied.

Great product did just what I needed it for. Easy to use easy to attach and was compatible with my X Box One controller Would recommend and was easy to pick up, bought online and picked up in store. .

We bought this adapter to make an Xbox 360 heatset work with Xbox 1. Did not work, so we returned it in exchange for a MS Xbox 1 headset. The Xbox 1 headset kit includes one of these, and works just fine. I don't know whether it would work with other headsets.

This is what I needed to use for use of the new headset I bought in order to use them with my older controllers. This works well. But preferably using a new controller will eliminate this.

I mean its a pest to have to spend that extra bit to use universal headsets but leave it to microsoft. Otherwise does work nicely headphones work of all types and its not too oversized.

I was having problems hearing my friends online while i played with them. I looked up options to help improve the game volume on my xbox, and found out about the chat adapter on the best buy website. Picked it up and it works great. Definitely can tell a difference when its plugged into your controller.

I only got this as an adapter to use my phone's headphone cord w/ inline mic as my Xbox one chat hardware. It allows you to mute the mic, change overall volume to the headphones, and also the chat volume ratio that other people come in with over your games volume (in case they're too loud or too quiet for the explosions going off etc). It attaches very nicely! My only wish is that it came in other colors. It's a little ugly on my Microsoft DesignLab conroller and designlab doesn't do custom matching peripherals for some reason.

I kind of wish this adapter was a little cheaper than it is; however, it is well made and fits snuggly at the bottom of the controller. I would like also if it created a more appealing form factor by contouring more to the device sort of how the old chatpad did for the Xbox 360 controllers. Nonetheless the buttons work well and the unit overall functions well as intended. It's nice that Microsoft hasn't completely killed off the use of legacy headsets, but I feel that at least for the first year or so or Xbox One production, this adapter probably should've been included by default.

This adapter works as expected however the $25 price tag is extreme. New controllers come with this built in. So, I just paid $75 for a $50 controller just so that I can use my headphones. I probably should have just got a new controller instead.

Its nice to be able to use my old headphones again but i had purchased the XP 500 headphones specifically for the wireless but with the xbox one setup the way it is. Until turtle beach or microsoft releases a blu-tooth adapter, This is the next best thing

Both of my kids have one for their xbox one controllers. My son is 14 and my daughter is 10, neither are exactly "easy" on anything and are always getting WAY to into their video games and yet this adapter has handled whatever they dish. Still working great months later!
