This little puppy allowed me to use my old turtle beaches with the new gaming console. Saved me some money much appreciated. Easy to set up

This allows my to use any headset with my Xbox One unit and not just the proprietary units that ONLY work with Xbox One. Worth the price.

This product comes is really good. Im able to connect my turtle beaches and listen exactly whats on the tv and its easy to use

I've had a few issues with this item not connecting correctly but overall its a must have buy.

I'm personally a Sony person, and when playing games with my hubbie at home and friend from back home on the XBOne, we like to chat. The system only comes with one headset and I found out that you need one of their headsets, which I did not want to use as I have my own headset I use on the PC for other games. This adapter did the trick and works perfectly fine with my Plantronics RIG headset!

This adapter is a must have for anyone who shares the room your XBox One is in with others that don't want to be bothered by all the gunfire and explosions. The update of the controller to use the adapter was simple and now I can plug in any headset. My only complaint is that this should have been included from the start, not an add-on. The price point is low enough that it's not a deal breaker. Definitely recommend.

This will basically become antiquated with the newer controllers that have an integrated 3.5mm audio jack on them. But it is useful if you have a headset (Skullcandy PLYR1) that is not truly compatible with Xbox One for in game chatting because this product has a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter that is necessary to allow it to function, albeit not as well as the fully compatible Turtle Beach Stealth 500X.

This piece making gaming a lot better volume control and silent play, great item to have. It also has stereo sound.

I have the Turtle Beach wireless headphones for the Xbox 360 and had heartburn from the thought that I was gong to have to drop another $300 plus on new headphones when I purchased the Xbox One. Fortunately, this was a very cheap fix to a potentially expensive problem. The only complaint is that it converted my completely wireless headphones into having one chat wire. However, I can live with one wire.

Mine works flawlessly. I can choose to hear more game or chat volume. With new updates my older headsets work with it.

The fact that the charger attaches to the side of the console keeps a fresh battery pack within easy reach, especially if you are only using one controller. The only draw back is the battery life, but that may just be an issue with the Xbox One controller itself requiring more power than the 360 controllers. The Xbox One controller seems to use up alkaline batteries pretty quickly too.

First off I want to say I'm pleased with this purchase. I don't use typical gaming headphones and never intended to so my review is based on using Bose noise cancelling in ear headphone for android phones. The games sound and chat sounds come.straight through with no issues on my in ear headphones and the sound is great. I can also chat using the built in mic on my headphones. The only thing I haven't been able to do with these head phones in is change the volume.of the game or chat separately. Either I'm not doing it correctly or it just won't work with the headphones I'm using. Not that big of a deal and I guess I'm technically not using this as intended. Great for when my fiancé is sleeping and still want to play with the volume up. I would recommend this for anyone with any headphones that you use for your phone (at least android because I don't know if iPhone ones will work) well worth the money

I use this because I have a hearing problem. So, instead of blaring the speakers on the TV loud, I can put this on and hear everything pretty well. It's great for wearing at night too, when you don't want to wake the kids or the Mrs. Works with all types of headphones. Volume up and down buttons on the module is a nice touch. It doesn't really add much weight to the controller, and fits in nicely.

Allows you to use your turtle beach headphones from your xbox 360 along with others for 360. Works excellent.

This product allows you to use a regular headset with the Xbox One controller. While it does work as it is supposed to, This should have been a standard feature on the controller and not required as an additional purchase. All in all it is a great product and I rrecommend you pick one up if you have an older Xbox 360 headset that you would like to use with your Xbox One.

Allows me to use my expensive Xbox 360 headsets with the Xbox one. Much cheaper than buying new headsets.

Bought this for my son when he upgraded to the xbox1 as I didn't want to dole out a lot for a new headset (nothing wrong with the old one). works like a charm, as evidenced by my son not complaining about not getting a new head set. Will see how long it lasts before needing to buy a new head set or a replacement adapter unit. Definitely recommend it to others.

Wanted to finally be able to use my Turtle Beach headset I used previously on my 360. So, I had to finally give in and purchase this adapter. It's a nice unit and works well with my TB's - just wish it would have been included or better yet, built into the Xbox One's controller when I bought the system 8mths ago. Regardless, it does well what its designed to do.

This has allowed me to play games or watch movies at my own volume. As a dad of 3 young children, being able to do this is freedom! Being able to plug in any pair of headphones is also a great perk. Just wish this was built into the controllers from the get go. Also would be nice if you could get surround sound through this versus the standard stereo sound.
