Plug and play. Easy set up and works good. Sounds good

The adapter is pretty nice in terms of quality. It didn't quite work with my Bose AE2i, which was a bummer, but it does work great with other standard headphones. All in all, a solid buy. May not work with all headphones, but Best Buy is super chill about returns if it doesn't work out for you.

I have the controller that came with the original Xbox One (no bluetooth or headphone jack). I wanted to use my gaming headset (3.5mm headphone input) and this was much cheaper than buying a new controller. It works flawlessly and I do like having the volume buttons right there to adjust sound settings on the fly while playing.

I had a set of After Glow head phones that I used for the Xbox 360 and Ps4. The head phone how ever didn't work for the Xbox one. I was looking at spending the money for a new controller that had the head phone jack on the bottom so I could use my head set. I found the head set adapter for half the price and it works great for my After Glow head set.

This adapter works great. The only problem is that the picture is wrong - it shows the connector for the wired Microsoft headset; not the adapter. The important difference is instead of a large mute button on the left, there is a relative volume control buttons (is controls the volume of the game sounds versus the chat volume), which is a great feature.

Easily attached. Works great. Clear and concise on both ends.

Great upgrade from the original headset that came with the XBox. Stereo audio directly in the earplugs, with the chat mixed in. Works great, and the construction is VERY sturdy, with the latch clicking in place and making the adapter feel like it's part of the controller.

The product works, with certainty, but your results will vary, and depending on your "legacy" headset. With my wireless PX5, Xbox One transmits one audio feed with music, sound effects, and chat via a channel that is routed via the chat cable, and the other channels via the wireless. You can turn down the volume on the PX5 completely, and still hear music, sound effects, and chat, and this is weird. Chat audio is EXTREMELY loud, but if you lower it, you lose many sound effects and game dialogues. This leads to extremely annoying and confusing situations, and finding a balance is difficult, but not impossible. I would think that Xbox One will be patching these anomalies with time. In my case, I am satisfied with my purchase. If you have a legacy headset, this is worth your money!

I was not aware of the existence of this product, but when I found out I did not think it twice about getting it. I've been wanting to play my xbox with headphones on but did not want to run a cable from the console itself. This worked just fine and the convenience of being able to lower/raise the volume from the controller itself is very nice

Loose connection with Xbox 360 turtle beach headset. Other than that, works great. Mute and volume control works well. Does not get in the way of hands when playing games.

The adapter works great and exactly the way it should. It's very simple to change the volume of the chat on game versus the volume for the actual game. One thing to know though, is that using this adapter, it will change the sound slightly compared to using just the headset without the adapter. It's noticeable, but it doesn't hurt the quality.

Good option (only?) to use 3rd party headsets with Xbox one... should probably be your second purchase after the Xbox...as the included headset probably won't last long. Didnt know it was possible to use single atom wide strands of copper for headset cords... but apparently ms figured out how.

Great quality, great price, really reliable product overall

A great alternative, instead of buying another headset, this allowed me to use my px4 headset instead of buying a whole other headset. Decent price compared to other places like GameStop that have it for $30 or more. Comes w everything you need to update your controller. Choose to output audio to any headset for late night gaming.

I really enjoy this adapter. I bought a 3.5mm joiner thing and use it with a PC gaming headset that I've had for a long time. Allows me to hear both my friends and my game music, or even just my game music wirelessly! I know some people bash it for not being included with the controller, but heck! this thing is solid and works well.

I bought this with the hopes of using a regular set of standard 3.5mm headphones that have a mic, so I could avoid the premium charge of Turtle Beach headphones. It works great. I haven't had any issues. The only thing I recommend is that it gets disconnected from the controller after gameplay as it will drain your battery.

I recently upgraded from xbox 360 to xbox one. I already have a set of turtle beach headphones that I really like using. But the 360 headsets are incompatible. This adapter works perfect. Just plug it in and plug your headset into the adapter. Saved me from having to buy new ones or using the cheaper ones that come with the one

This saved me a ton of money on getting a new turtle beach for my xbox one. I already had one for the Xbox 360 and was trying to not buy another for the one. It works great the only downfall being the noise it makes if i am charging my controller and using my headset at the same time. But I had that problem on the 360 as well.
