Needed an audio adapter so my Grandson could use his headset while playing on his 360. this one works just fine. hooked right up and his new style headset was working just fine. now I just have to make sure he doesn't break the controller.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to buy a new headset for the XBox One (I have an awesome Sony wireless headset for my PS4) and this adapter does the job. Granted now it's not wireless, but it works wired to the controller (I bought a 3ft aux cable). Worth the money to not have to purchase a 2nd expensive headset.

This piece does exactly what it is supposed to do. Microsoft did a great job with the design. It doesn't take up a lot of space and being able to easily change chat and game volume with a button is quite nice. A little overpriced(because its Microsoft) but overall a good buy if you need an adapter

I already love my Xbox one. I use it more for watching movies and Tv. This allows you to have stereo sound while wearing head phones whiling playing games and movies. I can crank the volume and get great sound and not have it bother anybody else in the house.

I loved being able to use my Turtle Beach PX22's with my Xbox, instead of needing to purchase a whole new headset just for the console. The way I had my console and PC set up allowed me to quickly change between the two on the same screen with the same headset because of this, and made things very easy :)

I really love this product and wish the PS4 had something like this. The best feature is to be able to mute your mic and change sound levels from it. Super simple and helpful. Price is pretty steep at 20 bucks. At 10 bucks this would be a steal.

Its a good buy from best buy and really helps out if you dont got the xbox one headset and want to use turtle beaches from the xbox 360 you can just plug it in the one controller and hook up your old turtle beaches if they will work for the one

It's great to be able to use an old xbox 360 headset with the xbox one and this is the only way to do that. I'd rather spend $25 on this than $100 on an xbox one headset. Instructions and description of the functions aren't very good.

I bought this for one reason, to be able to use my PC headset. The quality of this piece works great to communicate with my friends online with my PC headset. If you are looking at just getting a universal headset that is just using 3.5 mm jack, I would recommend getting this as well.

I had a great Turtle Beach for my 360 but was unable to use it on my XB1 until i came across this gem! I know the new controllers have the port for headsets but i have 4 older Xb1 controllers. This allowed me to use my original controllers and awesome headset. Works as advertised.

Bought this thinking I can use my old Tritton headphones I used on my PS3, but was unable to (at least for chat). After much research it turns out the adapter for Tritton's will not plug into this one. My Apple earbuds would not work with this either, again the mic portion. Finally found a set of earbuds with a mic1 adapter and works perfectly with this adapter. Nice that I can lower the game sound so I can use this headset only for chat and my Tritton's plug into the optical jack on the Xbox One.

I have the older xboxone controllers and needed this to use the newer headsets. After several of the older headsets dying, I hope now i can use any ol' headset because its getting expensive replacing them every other month.

I love this thing. It's great being able to put in some headphones and turn down the volume on the TV. I don't have a sound system for my TV, so playing games with some nice headphones with bass is a whole different experience. My wife also likes this thing for when I want to play some games early in the morning on the weekend while she catches a few more Zzz's. I haven't had any problems with this adapter and definitely recommend it for anyone. Note: Headphones that are Apple or "made for iPhone/iPod", the mic will NOT work. Different wiring. You'll get game and chat sound, but your mic won't work. So if you plan on talking to some friends while gaming, use some Skullcandy's or something. I know that Skullcandy headphone mics work just fine.

This adapter did what was promised. After the update, I was able to hear both chat and game audio through my old turtle beach headset with only the controller and USB power cable attached. No need to deal with those stupid audio Jacks in back of the TV. Good product.

Purchased this product to play games at night on the bedroom tv without disturbing the wife while she's sleeping, just what I was looking for, works perfectly with my beats headphones, game sound comes alive....love it. And the controller still feels nice in the hand.

I bought this to use with my beats by dre solos. Just had to purchase a splitter at radioshack and a mic. Now I can play and listen to audio through headset and I dont have to annoy my girlfriend while she is trying to sleep.

I bought this because my Xbox One headset broke, and this was all I could afford at the time so I could use my old 360 Turtle Beaches. I don't love this adaptor, but I don't hate it either. It works, and that's all...

I honestly don't know why they made it so you have to purchase this to use certain headphones.. other than being greedy anyways. That being said, it works perfectly and I haven't had any issues with it at all.Would purchase again

I'm a big fan of being able to plug in headphones into my Dualshock 4 controller and have sound piped through it. I was hoping this did the same thing which it does and it's even better because I can control the volume without having to go into a menu. Very happy with this.

I plugged in my controller, plugged in the adapter, and my Logitech gaming headphones into the adapter. Worked great, right out of the box, I could hear gaming audio through the headset without any loss of fidelity. Excellent product and does exactly as advertised!
